Earlier this week, the social media giant announced that the platform would be banning adverts for ICOs and cryptocurrencies and what the company termed “financial products and services frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices.“

Whether Facebook partners with Litecoin still remains to be seen, however, Charlie Lee left some breadcrumbs last year by tweeting that 2018 would have one huge surprise for Litecoin:

The Litecoin team has been hard at work working with companies to support Litecoin.

Facebook is still a hotbed of deception and dishonesty with or without ICO advertising, most crypto groups are plagued with this digital detritus. Removing crypto advertising could pave the way for a new partner, it is unlikely to have anything to do with preventing scams.

Will Litecoin be boosted by a new partner in 2018?

No need to doubt and worry about new partners litecoin. I believe without a new partner litecoin could be more developed.

We'll see, maybe litecoin will not be looking for a new partner, but those who will come to litecoin.

Still people are using the facebook to advertise the crypto platform project there. I am not sure it is simply wrote and shared from the outside of the facebook. I do not understand what litecoin can do for the FB's cryptocurrencies and ICO advertisement ban.
I do not find any official press release or news also from the Litecoin team speaks about it.

Facebook's reaction to ICO advertising is because the US regulators mentioned they were looking into ICO's and Facebook wants to stay ahead of the game. (After they got caught allowing illegal Russian adverts in the US election, Facebook doesn't want to be associated with other potentially illegal activity). It has nothing to do with Litecoin.

You also had some ICOs that were scams advertising on facebook and on google ads. By banning them they just go the safer route which is great. I mean even if legit advertisments were thrown around ICO, we all know how huge impact fb advertising has when it comes to ordinary people who can't think for themsels, imagine them reading an add and investing into some ICO at end without even knowing what they are doing, because an add offered an extrodinary return or something. They might however enable them again in future, but if this happens this will be with higher regulation.

There are bitcoin related ads on fb now, but seems no ICO ones.
