I think the zip and exe window builds are different.

One is reporting 18.4E difficulty and other 26.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Dear All,

The Neocoin client will be (really) released on Saturday, 27 July 1:00 a.m. (GMT + 0:00)
You can check the GMT time here:
http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/

The binaries will be available on our website:
http://neocoin.org

The source code will be available on github:
https://github.com/neocoin-project/neocoin

Features/Specifications:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=262114.0

After several tests, mining pools won't be necessary because the difficulty is very low and this might be a problem. A special version for miners will be launched, there are many people who want to mine but who don't know how to do it. Everything will be automatic.

We think Neocoin is actually the most innovative coin on the market. We tried to create new things by thinking and acting differently. Each detail has been tweaked to create the most exciting coin.

We hope you will enjoy Neocoin.

Thanks for your attention!

Neocoin Team  Wink

There is no Client information, Block Information (like coins per block, Diff etc), conf file information, then what is the meaning of this thread?

That part I don't mind actually. It's a tiny bit clearer. eg. GMT +0 or UTC +0

But yes, client crashing repeatedly, win7 x64.

No source? Not even basic coin info? Virus detectors going off? Yeah, I'm not touching this, and I would be worried if I ran that .EXE.  Protect your wallets folks.

Agreed.

I did run avast and BD on it and it seems to be ok (with the exception of cgminer but that file is always flagged as a virus).
