Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin

I think that this is very impossible to happen. By just looking at the price of bitcoins today, Ethereum coins will have a very hard time to catch up on bitcoins because the price of Btc is very high today, But it is ok because eth coins is easier to obtain by just working on bounty campaigns.

I think sometimes may be ETH overtake BTC. because Eth transaction completing  times is few second. its good for crypto investors. But Btc transaction was very slow and now it very expensive. Basically i think that reason may be ETH overtake BTC.

If this high transaction fees and so many unconfirmed transactions in bitcoin continues, it isn't impossible that some coins will overtake the first place.

Ethereum is a good altcoin but it cannot overtake bitcoin in price value as bitcoin price is much larger then ethereum. Maybe ethereum overtake market cap bitcoin due to its huge supply but it cannot overtake bitcoin price.

Well , In my opinion ethereum can overpower BTC in the price ,
ETH has the potential to do so , it is currently on the top of alt coins where people invest their money.
People see ETH as the next BTC ,
And the value graph of ETH is also constantly increasing in long term.

 i guess its possible that ethereum will over take the bitcoin...but i think its so hard because the trust of bitcoin user is too hard to compared in ethereum trust...but who knows about future... im a Etheruem user i will glad if that will be happen

I'm afraid it will not happen. I am also a strong supporter of Ethereum but I am a little more truthful about the real possibility of such a great altcoin. Bitcoin will stay as the primary coin in the whole of crypto world. By the time Ethereum will reach around $10,000, Bitcoin is already worth around $500,000. So there is no point competing against the king. It is more than enough that Ethereum comes second to Bitcoin.

I don't agree with you, getting $500k in bitcoin is not that possible. And If we see $500k in bitcoin, ether would be $25k-30k at least. It doesn't stay around $10k in this case.

eth(and bch ) cant overtake BTC. because bitcoin is brand. some people think cryptocurrency is bitcoin, is all. it's very strong brand. so eth cant overtake btc. but perhaps eth overtake btc year after year.

There is almost 0% of chance to overtake of bitcoin by ethereum because ethereum is not as popular as bitcoin now and will never. Ethereum is very useful crypto too but bitcoin is very high leveled. People of all over the world likes bitcoin because of its facilities. Bitcoin gives us so more benefit than ethereum. We can put bitcoin at 1st position and ethereum at 2nd position but the price of both of these coins are different by miles. People who can’t afford to invest on bitcoin are invest into ethereum or any other alts. Bitcoin is the original, and all the others are imitators. Bitcoin is adaptable and can evolve to meet any crisis. My bet would be on Bitcoin remaining the top, with Ether a distant second place. It could change, of course, but that might not happen in our lifetimes.
