I don't think it will overtake BTC, just by looking at the history of how it was going through time you can easliy say it won't happen in close future. BTC might have fallen but it will get up through year.

I dont think so,  that is very impossible  although ethereum is a nice coin, I still believe  that bitcoin will remain the king of crypto because the price gap is too long.  Ethereum should do more moves in order to achieve the price of bitcoin.

I have no objection about the ethereum platform but looking in the current scenario the price of this coin had continuesly going to hit the bottom for almost 3 months. The direction to go down is something can be scary as we expect this to perform better to beat bitcoin. Let's all hope for the best of all crypto currency.

Same opinion. I think it will stay as it's function today, and it will not be higher that bitcoin. We find good paying bounty here in altcoins, and we got them because of bitcoin. As I can see, the prices of alternative currencies depend on the price of bitcoin. Mainly, we can see that the pioneer cannot be shut down and altcoins continue to work.

It is really possible that Ethereum is going to overtake bitcoin. This is because of the popularity of ethereum at this time. Ethereum has many competitor now like EOS, NEO, XLM, ADA, WAVES, etc so will be hard for ETH will be number 1 cryptocurrency, in my opinion in 5 years Bitcoin still number 1 crypto, and after that could be change with other. There many coins given more benefits than BTC so this is can be happen, other coins will replace BTC.

I think it is impossible because Bitcoin virtual currency is in the world, therefore, Ethereum will not be able to take over the first, but for now, maybe Ethereum can invest well in comparison with Bitcoin because Ethereum can transact quickly and many using Ethereum

Nope ethereum is a good coin because of its features like making an ERC-20 token which it use in every project but it cant bitcoin ethereum cant defeat the greatness of our mighty bitcoin because without bitcoin all other coins are gone also

Etherium is fast and the transaction costs are very cheap
so Etherium in 2018 will grow strongly but still can not overcome Bitcoin
