In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.
Ethereum always follows bitcoin as the price keeps rising, but ethereum can not exceed bitcoin because as long as I know bitcoin is always the first in the world of cryptocurrency. and Bitcoin has a limited supply as well which creates value. It has a long way to go before that will ever happen. Bitcoin also has nostalgia on its side as the first crypto.

I very much doubt it. Bitcoin, as it was digital gold, will remain it. I agree that now there are coins with better technology than bitcoin, but this does not mean that they will overtake bitcoin at a price.

The possibility is low, but do you remember when everyone talking about the flippening when the market cap of Ethereum rise tremendously and almost take over BItcoin market cap. But that is just a moment, we can see who is the king now.

It may or maybe not. It depends on what 2018 holds for both coins. However, there are several predictions concerning eth to be precise. Many have predicted that 2018 will be a boom year for eth coin. Although the other part of the coin catching up with btc is kind of too far away from being realistic, but i know eth will turn out good in 2018.

I believe that the ripple with its current growth rate next year will overtake bitcoin in terms of market capitalization. And this can seriously affect the overall rate. In general, everything is very strange.

Yes, everything is very strange and it is getting a bit scary every day in my opinion. We should just understand that all the crypto currency market is dependent on bitcoin as it is the mother. if bitcoin is overtaken then it means everything is dead.

While at Ethereum I do not see any special chances for next year he could outrun bitcoin in the price. Ethereum is quite promising, performing important functions of the coin, and it is now clearly underestimated, but too much price gap between them. In addition, in all likelihood, bitcoin next year will itself grow significantly in price, no less than this year and, I think, the gap between them in the price will only increase.

ETH more than BTC? I don't think that's possible, because ETH and BTC face a common problem: block congestion.
So I think, ETH wants to be more than BTC is hard.

I'm not saying that it is impossible, but what I think is that it will not happen soon. Bitcoin is still the leading cryptocurrency and is still increasing its value very rapidly hence I think that it will remain on top for quite some time.

I barley think the this will happen in anytime in the future! The real bitcoin as speak is always going to have more trust as compare to other coins and ETH specially. This trust will always keep building more and more investors and crypto enthusiast in the favour of bitcoin leading to ultimate investment into bitcoin. So you see here, the weightage for the bitcoin will be always higher as compared to the ETH. Im completely in favour with the ETH as good investment but it always comes after the BTC. Its perfect currency for long term investment but I don't think that anyone will ever put it in the first rank and that too after having blessed with BTC in the crypto world.

I do not think that. There may be another alternative to Bitcoin, but it is not Ethereum because its value is almost stable and less volatile so it is completely impossible to catch up with Bitcoin at present and in the future. future. Its value is too small compared to bitcoin, which is a stoichiometric comparison

Agreed, it seems the etherium's No.2 market cap is overtaken by the ripple today, but I still think the eth has a very bright future, the crypto market is still very small, the maket cap of eth is even smaller than a stock on the stock market.

I think you are looking at the wrong horse in the race with Ethereum and Bitcoin. It iw far more likely that Ripple will overtake Bitcoin as the highest value coin. Don't overlook the plan with Ripple is for the Banks to use it for large money transfers and if the banks are involved you can guarantee the coin is going to keep increasing in value.

what a presumptuous example. And is it worth completely rid of any crypts when it grows all the time?

Current ripple's market cap is $101 billion and that was really a quick growth for this coin having some banks purchasing it that makes it demand higher and pushing others and attracting as well for buying it.

Everything now is strange because we are on holidays but after this when people are hungry for profit again they will come back to bitcoin and Ethereum. But neither of the two will overtake bitcoin, bitcoin is the king.

Guys, have you seen how Ripple is being pumped?

BTC dominance is only at 38% and Ripple has a ~100 billion market cap.

This can only mean one thing; someone is pumping it hard for the moment, but it won't last long and BTC will remain in the leading position for a very long time.
