Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin

In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.

I doubt if ETh will take over bitcoin even for many years. ETH most likely a ticket for ICO and other tokens. Bitcoin already established it's name. Even if there's a lot of FUD, media disruption, scam accusation, and issues surround bitcoin, it remained number one and it kept growing as time goes by.

I think it's impossible to get it because of the very high value of btc knowing if btc's price is higher when it dumps when the price of btc is lower then many will buy btc and increase the price of btc high eth's price is high but he can not afford it btc

it may happen, but not in this year or next year, now the dominance of bitcoin has started to decline, but still the bitcoin is still strong

This wont happen in anytime in the future! The real bitcoin as speak is always going to have more trust as compare to other coins and ETH specially. This trust will always keep building more and more investors and crypto enthusiast in the favour of bitcoin leading to ultimate investment into bitcoin. So you see here, the weightage for the bitcoin will be always higher as compared to the ETH. Im completely in favour with the ETH as good investment but it always comes after the BTC. Its perfect currency for long term investment but I don't think that anyone will ever put it in the first rank and that too after having blessed with BTC in the crypto world.

Dont think it will happen because of its mass scale adoption acros the world and pretty much everyone heard about it.Yes bitcoin have problems with transaction fees and time of it but eth isnt really much better,thing that people are forgeting that btc isnt over with improvment for example lighting network should be up this year for btc

And I think that this year the ETH will bypass bitcoin. Yes, bitcoin is more famous, but now the information era and the last months the only thing people hear about bitcoin is its high volatility and technical problems. I do not think that this is a good advertisement. And the introduction of lightning still remains no more as a project.

Maybe, because if you see the value of ethereum in the market you see the small difference of each other also ethereum right now is continuously rising this past week, you can see it in the market. And if think to ethereum it will be great altcoin someday, because it become know of many user of cryptocurrency.

I dont think eth will replace bitcoin on the top spot. I think it has the capability to compete with btc but i dont think itll totaly replace btc.

I don't think that ethereum can reach bitcoin's price, popularity or value in a near future. On the other hand, In my opinion, ethereum has a potential to be a competitor of bitcoin. Not in a near future maybe, but I think it is not an impossible to see this two as real competitors for each other's.

Ethereum can overtake bitcoin but need a long time to ethereum can reach bitcoin value. But i believe of Ethereum have a good future. And now ethereum value reach 1300$ . I think in december ethereum can reach 2000$ .it just my opinion

Currently Bitcoin core controls Bitcoin, they are paid by blockstream, who is owned by VC and banks. Bitcoin can be toppled by Bitcoin cash or just taken over in time by a currency that is cheaper and faster to transact in. While Ethererum has way more uses it also has a huge attack surface and a lot of code to attack.

It would be shortsighted to expect BTC always on top even in midterm.

I think that etherium may replace bitcoin, where we know that bitcoin has lost its appeal, and instead the etherium price has gone up, it seems that etherium has a brighter future, especially with the advantages of its smart contract
