Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin

Everything can be. Although I have little faith in this. But if you look, what

I think ETH have good chance to become in 2018 №1 cryptocurrency at least in market cap measure! (just now BTC 278b, ETH 108b).

As much as I like ETH, I do not believe that this is possible. In the long run (more than 5 years) - maybe. Now, however, the probability is significantly low. BTC, regardless of infrastructure issues and declining prices, has proven to be a very important crypt, so it will not fade quickly. It will defend the title for at least another 2 years. ETH has enormous potential, but is now widely used for ICOs and other tokens to be created.

This can be a possible state for now. However, things are still uncertain. It is better to still keep some of your bitcoin and invest on alternative coins like Ethereum if you prefer this way as well. In every investment, we always have to think long term as well as with risks that can be involved.

For now, ethereum is increasing rapidly but even that ethereum increases there is no chance of surpassing bitcoin because bitcoin is on the top and the margin between them is very far. Bitcoin is the number one cryptocurrency and I think no one can beat it even ethereum or any other coins. Ethereum is a good coin and will be a good coin but it can't and will never beat bitcoin.

This is not happening anytime soon but maybe in the future. Lets face it, apart from being the first crypto to have wide adoption. Bitcoin is the digital Gold of the century

There are absolutely 0 chances for ETH to take over BTC. After all these ICO's cooldown the marketcap of Ethereum will drop down dramatically. It's not even the best platform for tokens anymore, the blockchain constantly gets clogged. There are far better platforms for tokens nowadays and people will figure that out soon. Go do some research before talking about things that you have no clue about.

i dont know where did OP get this wild imagination,or  what comes to his mind thinking the posibility of taking the top coin from bitcoin to ethereum..this is not overlooking instead hallucinations.

Yes i believe in ethereum being one great coin has being created and having a bright future for big value but still not enough for him to overtake bitcoin price for the next 10 years.because bitcoin is the most rare coin after being mined sooner.and the limit of its kind is what made this coin popular

there is still a lot of space to improve bitcoin and I think at last it will be introduced  into bitcoin!
