Big whales might have had some influence in what has happened in recent days but today all cryptos are down and in the past few days many of them were down as well. |

[I don't think it's the big whales.
They are: famous big whales like the creator of bitcoin.com and the creator of litecoin have sold 100% of their positions. Futures have started trading this month, so that's when the real big money, the hedgefunds entered. And it's not hard to see which side they took  Only the little guy is buying because he thinks 'wow bitcoin was 20k, now it's only 12.500, that's cheap' LOL |

There's truth in your statement when you say that the whales are manipulating the price. It's definitely been the same cycle over and over again since the China FUD and whales are getting benefits out of it. The thing is that the average Joe can also benefit off of it because if they purchase bitcoin now, they'll have those gains when it starts going back up as the whales purchase again. They can easily ride the wave. |

Haha, but this can not be applied in here, just because bitcoin is going to revolutionate something (i doubt that it could be massive adopted, but we are just starting) I have been reading some posts today, and the only conclusion that i took from this, is that the only crypto that could be used to make a massive adoption of cryptos is just TETHER. If the merchants wants to put a X price of X dollars, and you want to pay with crypto, you can just use tether and pay with that. Isn't that very easy? I have been thinking about it the WHOLE day, correct me if i am wrong. I am just so obsessed with tether, forgive me about that. Bitcoin is like VHS .... not the best product .... but the best usage. He is. It's still going to surpass fiat. Either BTC or BCh if somehow people get fed up with BTC and decide bigger blocks are better. I don't honestly see anything better than cryptocurrencies in the financial scene. On the futures market you can profit by predicting dumps as well and people bet on it because Bitcoin has been pumping for weeks. It was more probable for it to go down that up and that's what's happening and people are making money as we speak. |

I don't know how can you predict the price not being to 70k but probably before new year eve is gonna hit 20K. Is being manipulated the market. Too much crack my friend. It's not going to go back to 20000 USD in a week with the network being full of unconfirmed transactions. It's going to take days or weeks before we are able to send normal transactions with a fee lower than 100 USD again and then it's going to take time before the confidence rises high enough for us to be able to attack ATH once more. |

BTC has a big problem - the transaction fees. It's just not sustainable at this moment. That's one thing. On another hand, Bitcoin futures just released, so I think BTC has a long-term potential.
Having said that, the drop was expected. One has to be blind not expecting a significant drop after all these crazy gains. I choose to be calm, and slowly buy in with fiat, I bought in at 12k, I'll get in again at 10k.

The only thing that can stop Bitcoin IS Bitcoin. What I mean is, it is just ruining its own name with the current fees and not to mention the number of UNCONFIRMED transactions.
