I have just purchased BTC from Bitstamp.  I need to wait 2 - 5 days for an international bank transfer to be processed.
I ordered a product and did not realize that payment was only accepted in BTC.

Errr... So...
You purchased BTC from Bitstamp.
You now own bitcoins.

Congrats!
Just pay the product with your newly acquired BTC, no need to wait for the international bank wire, to do so, really! Smiley

He's most likely just another gambling addict in need of his fix.

OP : You may wanna try to PM TradeFortress, he runs a (virtual currency) lending platform and lives close to you, or so I was told. Just arrange a face to face meeting with him, and don't forget to bring a ~100$ collateral.

Kouye - BTC are not delivered until payment clears.

cp1 - Yes.  I placed the order, to my detriment, without sufficient prior research.

Yeah, sure.  Roll Eyes
I'm using bitstamp, and I'm not aware of any way to purchase BTC prior to having a sufficient fiat balance to do so. I might have missed it, though, the site is not a model of user friendly site, I'll admit that (sorry, /dev/null, but this is true  Wink ).
