The original Scorecoin, which was a Proof of Work Coin, has been updated to implement Masternode capabilities. The current version is now Proof of Stake (POS). Our vision for Scorecoin is to connect game developers and gamers, enabling them to seamlessly transact and purchase additional functionality within respective games.

The main usage envisioned for Scorecoin is to be an in-game Currency for mobile games. We also plan to get Scorecoin accepted within game stores as a payment method.

Scorecoin in its current state offers two distinct advantages over Bitcoin as a traditional payments method:

• Scorecoin transactions are confirmed in a much faster fashion,
  lending themselves more useful for payments processing

• The expensive transaction fees for Bitcoin do not lend themselves useful for small transactions.
  Scorecoin facilitates micro transactions for in-gape purchases

To differentiate from projects that may operate in the gaming sphere, we have clearly narrowed our focus on a specific channel, mobile games. More specifically, we will concentrate on Android games in the initial stages, with a plan to broaden our in-app currency solution offerings to IOS games in the near future.

The Masternode version is POS, meaning that you do not need dedicated machines to mine it. This provides Scorecoin community and miners an energy efficient and simple mining solution. By locking coins, masternode owners are incentivized to continue operating their node to receive a periodic reward in the form of more Scorecoins.

ROADMAP 2018

Scorecoin has set itself the task of being ingame currency for Android Mobile Games.
With ingame currency e.g. “points or gold” ingame items can be bought.
Here the Scorecoin would be the so called ingame currency.
In many games Scorecoin will be used buying game-relevant content such as game time.

As another usage a ScoreStore planned, in which one can buy games with Scorecoins.
It will be a webshop where you can deposit your Scorecoins to redeem against games.

Scorecoin is already integrated in a game; Dragon Knights of Valeria and Universe,
a browser game in which Scorecoin is used as an ingame currency.

Furthermore, we endeavor to see Scorecoin integrated into especially Android Mobile Games.
The Google Android Market has grown a lot in recent years, and is a very serious big division.

We will also get into contact with gaming portals in the future.
This is particularly important for us to reach thousands of
new people via existing gaming portals.

Related with the extending needs we have to expand our team.
Hence our community has grown threefold since last December.
It will keep going as the tasks expand.

We therefore need specialized team members for specific positions.
Scorecoin allocated adequate fund for this purpose.
It has no financial difficulties and is a long-term project to see.
We do not want to compete with big names like gamecredit,
we want to grow bigger in our niche.

Scorecoin is a well-known name meanwhile in the cryptocurrency world.
Of course we would like to extend this with additional successes.

The roadmap is far from over, for the time being only so much.

Just make sure you don't fall into the confusion trap. The old and the new coin are 2 totally separate coins.

Things you can NOT do:

- you can NOT transfer coins from the old wallet to the new wallet and vice versa
- you can NOT withdraw coins from Cryptopia or any exchange running the old coin to the new wallet
- you can NOT deposit coins from the new wallet to Cryptopia or any exchange running the old coin

You COULD however buy old coins on Cryptopia or any exchange running the old coin and swap them for new ones.

you can't do a major change like MN or adding PoS without a hardfork.
