There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Need Dutch translation?

A south african coin should have a Dutch translation right Tongue

German translation already done see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2664091.0

German is the language of Germany (Berlin)
Dutch is the language of Holland (Amsterdam)

Just a quick update.

Am busy with the website. Website will be up and running today. Will also implement live chat and support on the website. All downloads for wallets and config files will be available from the website. Have applied with a couple of exchanges and awaiting feedback.

Thanx for the support

Post the update when the website is ready.

Is there a GPU miner, or is it all wallet/CPU based? Also, I tried checking out the mining pools, but several were down, or didn't show the coin listed. Could you share a little more info? Danke!

You can mine on www.hashpool.co.za - pool is up and running and there is miners currently mining there.

Please see getting started page for ports and settings. http://hashpool.co.za/getting_started

Yes you could mine gpu / cpu but not recommended for solo mining - better to mine in a pool.

Thanx

Once Platinum Core is listed on an exchange do not dump your coins for ridiculous low prices. I am quiet confident that the Platinum Core can reach a good stable price on the exchanges as the reward starts low and increases as more and more blocks get mined.Tell on what exchanges are currently traded coin PLTCR and how much is 1 coin PLTCR?

We applied with exchanges to list Platinum Core. Still awaiting feedback from exchanges. As soon as Exchanges list coin I will update the website and the announcement. Listing on exchanges takes time. I have been in contact with cryptomarkets, yobit, poloniex, changegelly and several others. Just await feedback.

Thanks for the response. I think some of the pools were being blocked by my firewall. Could you respond to my question when you get a minute...e.e.: is mining done via the wallet, or is there a dedicated GPU miner, such as CGMiner variant or similar?

No there is no dedicated gpu / cpu miner. You can use any. Just google it. I will try to upload miners tomorrow to github and post the link here for the download.
