We at 8 Circuit Studios are video game developers who have designed the first Smart Game Objects.  These are digital items (think a sword, a car, a character, etc) from video games that are stored on the blockchain, making them unique, public, and can be managed, owned, and updated.  Our Smart Game Objects aren't just tokenized objects on the blockchain, where a token represents the item. Our Smart Game Objects are smart contracts that can be accessed and updated.  The result is you can advance the level of your object, just like leveling up in a game, but all the data is stored on the blockchain, making the value of your digital asset public.

Here is a demo video of our first Smart Game Object working in our game D-PARC and we show you the transactions taking place on the blockchain.

DEMO VIDEO ON YOUTUBE

We see the creation of Smart Game Objects as an opportunity to put some of the value of video games into the hands of the gamers.  Instead of paying for the right to play the game, with Smart Game Objects, the gamers will be able to extract some of the value of the game from the game world and hold it in their own wallet, to sell trade or loan as they like.  This will help build an economy around gaming, where gamers can earn valuable assets while grinding, which they can sell to people who don't want to grind.  In the near future, we envision developers and content creators working together to create Smart Game Objects which can then be used in many different game worlds, and where the creator of those objects are paid directly for the sale of each one.

Video games have been one of the primary drivers of technology and tech adoption. It will be the same with the blockchain.

We want you to be a part of this revolution in development.  We want to build a community of developers, publishers, and content creators who recognize the potential of these technologies and want to work together to change how game development is done.  Join with us, level up your game development with Smart Game Objects. You say that your smart game objects are not tokens, they are smart contracts.
Is it possible to buy, sell and store a smart contract in a wallet? This sounds confusing for me,i`m not familiar with programming smart contracts and game develpoment.
It`s an interesting idea, but it would be better to create awesome games first and then think about adding smart game objects and in-game currencies.

Yes!  It is possible. By indicating the owner of the contract (with the owners wallet address) that is where the contract is "stored," technically who holds the private key to make changes to the contract. From that point the owner can simply change the owner of the contract to a different address.  If you've used something like the Mist wallet that allows you to interact with smart contracts, there are a number of built in options that can be interacted with based on authorization.  As the owner of the contract, one of the things we provide is the ability to transfer ownership to another wallet.

We've also already built wallets into our game that allow you to manage this.

Let me know if I can provide any additional info, and thanks for the question!
