the one reason that caused the price drops are only panic from the people with one news or more and they think that all coins will scam them or all coins cannot survive and help them to make money. we can see that from the last December, after bitcoin and all coins reaches the highest price, one news contains the prediction about the cryptocurrency and every people getting panic and start to sell their coins. and if they can hold themselves from this bad news, I think that the price won't go too deep and will stay at the $10k level of the price.

The main cause of downfall of the price is the selling of the investors of their investment maybe because they want to control the market because if they sell the market will be red and the is also the time they will bought coins for investment again.

As for me, the huge panic selling from those long term investors really affected the price to crash. And to speculated why it happened though, yes it was rally a massive price manipulations from various holders who've put up their money in cryptocurrency. These people spread rumors also and paid for FUD or participated with fake news sharing. Definitely the people will tend to lose control and lose their faith with bitcoin.

It might be because bitcoin hit 20.000$ many people jumped in with feeling that the rally will go on, but as we all know nowadays Hedge funds, financial institutes and brokers are more actively looking into cryptomarket, buying crypto exchanges to bring more money into the market legit way.
To bring more money they need better, lower price which was achieved by shaking off a lot of people, also lowering the global trend in cryptocurrency for the last 3 months.
Now media is talking how great bitcoin is again, and it's a good time to buy it. This means only one thing - cryptomarket is still very small and could be easily manipulated with fake news making a lot of people believe in them and sell in loss, dropping the price even more.

if you know what whales means in crypto currency world you probably know why the price goes ups and down / pump and dump..
they create a huge volume of selling points and also false rumors that drives small investors US to pull out resulting to price surge dips hehehe.

the price of the cryptocurrency has dropped significantlybespecially over the last 24 hours. a week ago with this all cryptocurrencies are seeing huge drops while it isn't clear why bitcoin price has dropped so quickly, it isn't the value of the notoriously volatile cryptocurrency has fluctuated unpredictably all. its has been claimed that they can cause it's value plummet.
