Seems you can't edit in this forum, which is sensible.  I should condition my bid upon receiving proof you're owed 10 chips (can't find posts in the zefir thread) and coming to an agreement on how to safely transfer them -- unfortunately it seems zefir doesn't do after-sale trades.

Hi,

This is my order in Zefir's post:

ID   Chips   Address               Comment
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
50   10   1HWcHT9ejkAeHnuwpzGj1uMenZfnUkXB9r

You can check it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=177827.msg2614159#msg2614159

Zefir doesn't do after sale trades, but I can forward these chips to address you provide directly from Zefir.
Once you set shipping address on Zefir's site that field is locked and you can't change it.

There was reverse auction for Zefir's chips couple of weeks ago where 'transfer' of chips was handled this way -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=242799.0

I'd just like to add that I'm selling these chips because I wanted to order bitburner X from burnin but when I saw price of 10 chip miner I decided to sell them.

Also, I forgot say when will this auction end.
I'll accept offers posted before 26. 07. 2013. 12:00 CET

Can you sign the message "I'm madxista selling 10 chips from zefir's batch 8. Thu Jul 25 2013" from address 1HWcHT9ejkAeHnuwpzGj1uMenZfnUkXB9r to prove you own them?

That reverse auction used John as escrow; have you made an arrangement with him?  I don't really want to bug him over such a small amount, but I guess the fee itself would be alright.  I think my forum reputation is good enough that I could ask for you to send proof that you locked it to my address first, but I know that favors me.  Maybe I send half, you send proof, I send the rest?

I am also wondering about the additional shipping fee zefir said he would charge.  If I can't pay it directly, what happens if it doesn't get paid, chips don't get shipped, and I already paid for them?  I can't find recent information about this, so he may be waiving that based on enough people shipping to a handful of assemblers.

Sure, here is signature for the message you posted:

I agree that total amount of bitcoins in this transaction is too small to bug John.
What kind of proof do you need to be sure I locked your address in delivery field? Maybe Zefir could confirm delivery address for these chips?

Or we could use alternative escrow service like bitmit.net?

Regarding additional shipping costs... I'm not 100% positive but I believe that that cost is covered by assembler. e.g. if you order a miner from burnin, burnin will cover zefir's delivery costs but he will charge little extra for his final product to cover these expenses. Additional delivery costs apply only if you want chips delivered to your custom address or to assembler that doesn't have similar deal with zefir.

OK, I verified that message, thanks.

Have you registered on zefir's site?  You can get a signed receipt from the site saying where you're shipping.  There is an option to lock the address, and the receipt should say if it's locked.  I'm basing this off the shipping options page, which says:
Once you finalize this order, you will NOT be able to edit its shipping address anymore. It will get marked as finalized in your receipt so you have proof for a certain shipping address.

I'm not sure I'm ready to choose an assembler, so I was thinking of just shipping to my own address and re-shipping.  So if the receiver has to pay for shipping I guess I'd have to figure that out.

For informational and reputation purposes:  We decided for me to pay half, then madxista to provide a signed receipt shipping to me from zefir, then me to pay the rest.  I've just verified the receipt and sent the rest.  Thanks madxista!
