I have lerked here forever but thought Id share this if interested. I just enjoy building things with weld and cnc machines so if you have other needs just let me know, anything can be built
Put on amazon just search: 8gpu mod kit . After about 10 sold I upgraded the design as It seems others actually really need this so I put more time into design and programs to build them. Specs:
8 GPU mount system for modification to a Rosewill RSV-L4000. For mounting 8 GPU into 4U server case system. This may work with other 4U cases but was only built into this specific 4U server rack computer case RSV-L4000. Steel rail is 430mm long. GPU size like Radeon 480 Reference or XFX 580 with a width of 45mm is prime. Some such as Gigabyte Extreme GTX1060 have thick designer shrouds that do not allow 8 cards to fit. Includes: (1) Steel gpu screw rail which has 16 holes tapped for 8 gpu. The steel bar has two threaded ends so you can drill the 4U case and put side screws in to add extra stability but is not required. (4) Aluminum riser rails that are cnc machined out of solid aluminum. These are tapped for our hardware. Normal china risers with holes at 35.5mm work perfect. Due to differences in who manufactured your risers just make sure to trim any legs on soldered components so no metal legs contact the aluminum riser rails. Remove foam pads with hair dryer if needed those just insulate heat and will not work with kit well. (1) Stainless hardware packet with 2 screws for side mounting black steel bar. 16 GPU mount screws and 32 riser mount screws that extend out the bottom of the rails to increase height of risers for proper seating. Please ask any questions before ordering. You must have a cool temperature controlled room for professional 4U server rack systems to function in the correct environment. Exhaust heat ducts or AC is required.
