Hi,

I often see sudden "explosions" of the bitcoin-price and ask myself if this is based on news or just a more or less random development. Do you know any links where I can find comments and explanations for actual price changes as soon as they happen?

I know there are some news-sites, but they produce articles at the end of the day, more like a summary. Much too late.

best

Look at the online article in Forbes about bitcoin. The site will lead to the different statistics with regards to bitcoin in different aspects. Also, to give light to the way it works, note that the concept of supply and demand takes place here.

it doesn't have to be only one reason to lead to a rise.
there are lots of them. the adoption, the development and more people simply finding out about bitcoin or  changing their mind about it.

in short it will all come down to more adoption. so you have to look for reasons that lead to more adoption. for example one of the biggest ones was Japan regulating bitcoin. the second one this year was bitcoin hitting mainstream in US
