Oh definitely.  I'm not expecting any sort of return on investment from this coin, not for a while.  Volatility is part of the turf, especially with new coins, but I see it as a cryptocurrency breakthrough, which I hope moves other people who are considering unloading more cutandpaste coins to cease and desist.  Unless there's something new or unique about the coin, I'm not interested. But that's me.  I'm most intrigued by how crypto currencies in general will change the world. ( enter evil laughter here ) Smiley

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I really got to post a write-up on the most popular coins voted on for newcomers to check out.  I'll run a new poll I'm a couple months.  My prediction is once a GPU miner comes on the scene, primecoin will surpass litecoin in popularity.

it seems like lite on the decline.  if they come out with a gpu miner for primecoin, i think many lite miners will switch over.
