He is hyping a new coin everyday, he is just purely manipulating the price of almost all the coins.

I just saw John McAfee just tweeted about Reddcoin and then I checked coinmarketcap, RDD price has move to 3 figures, so current values like this, $0.017274 USD (46.25%) 0.00000130 BTC (67.13%)

When he tweeted about Electroneum, the price went up by 80%.

When he tweeted about the other coint that he posted yesterday,  it grew up by 60%

It seems that he is losing popularity right now, this is the third coin that he tries to hype and it could rise only by 40%.

Might be he is investing in such type of coins, it's a bullshit for following him also he said BTC would be $50k. I am not following and he purely posts what he may think right.

And this is not the first coin he recommends in his tweeter. And he does it not for free. He gets paid - he advertises - the coin takes off. Here such here business.

Yeah I know,he tweeted about XVG either which is going a up journey right now. I am happy as a XVG holder, XVG still a good coin which has potential.

About Mcafee's intention what you mention. even  under his twitter post about RDD, I saw some one has commented with screen shot , That he has asked 25BTC to promote a coin. Actually It wasn't real McAfee, It was  a fake account. We still can't approve that he promote coins for money. I don't know, however it is important for us to be vigilant.

There was slow continuous dump so far after Mc's tweeting but again right now its again pumping slowly. Some people say it will hit 0.50 in 2018, but not more than that due to its huge coin supply. So, I am hesitating to sell them. What do you think ?

Wouldn't a great strategy be once he tweets out a coin, buy a lot of it.  Then once the coin goes up double or triple or even more... but you set a goal on how much profit you want, immediately sell it back for btc to lock in your profits?  And usually the price increase happens after he post the tweet?  Then you look at the rise of the coin and then wait for it to hit a certain target and then sell?  That way even if the coin drops down in price, well you are unaffected since you already took in the profits?  Of course the negative is if the coin goes even higher etc and then you would have made more if you held it.  Thoughts on this?

I think it is a trap which we all should stay away from. Reddcoin, verge, doge all are shit coins. Especially verge is the most overvalued coin now.
