I obviously agree on Ethereum and Litecoin as solid altcoin picks.  Ripple though? I'm very dismissive of it since it's not truly a cryptocurrency and its associated with the big banks.  Verge has shown a lot of dev problems as well so I would be skeptical of that project.  EOS has raised a lot of capital but they seem to be overhyped and overpriced at the moment.

ETH is always first from altcoin. Its like queen of the cryptomarket.
NEO is china based coin. It has great future. And ICO going to invest in it.
