I think a valuable information to know about an user is the registered date.

Could it be added  below the activity row, avoiding to be forced to enter in the user's profile to know that?

God forbid you have to click on a link.

A click for each user in every discussion is really boring.

And this is just a suggestion, I do not need the approval of god

I prefer Activity rather than Date Registered as it is a function of both time and number of posts.

Yes activity is good, but I'd like both

what keeps you from visiting a profile? Is one click too much? Cheesy

when I'm reading a long thread where I need to know if each of the users posted in is trustworthy (like in securities forum), yes a click for each post is a lot Wink

Date registered is not a good guide for trustworthiness, as an old account could just be a dormant account which was recently hacked.  I usually use Activity as a quick indicator then review recent posts to detemine whether someone is trustworthy or not,  but unfortunately this takes alot of clicks and alot more time.

Like I said Activity is good but I'd like the registered date too, and also total posts number wouldn't hurt. Obviously none of this information is sufficient to ensure the reliability of a user and a search in his posts is mandatory, but I think most information you can quickly get, easier become follow long threads.

But if I'm the only one to think that, just lock and trash Wink

You can show the users total number of posts beneath their Activity using the setting at the bottom of: Profile => Forum Profile Information

thanks I missed that
