If you put all your money into 1 altcoin then the risk will be very high. Because nobody put all the eggs in the same basket. I recommend diversifying your capitalization. You should invest in 2-3 altcoin to ensure profitability. I recommend investing in altcoin in the top 50 coinmarketcap. The current price of all altcoin is very low, if you want to have great profit in the future then you should invest in altcoin right now. Some altcoin that I think you should buy is Monero, NEO, IOTA, Cardano, Litecoin and especially Ethereum.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I would not go all in one. Diversify... I think that is the best you can do in terms of spreading the risk.

Yes, investing all your money in only one coin is risky as you said. You should distribute your risk to multiple coins for reducing possible losses.

I agree with you . Choosing altcoins that have good growth and the community of coins must always have new strategies to make the price of coins rise is certainly a good investment, but most people are inclined to invest in New altcoin because of the chance of getting higher and always getting attention from whales. I personally care about this and always choose new and potential projects

It depends on which altcoin. If it's ETH that's fine. If it NEO it's risky (china can ban something again). If its a micro cap shitcoin it's just suicidal
Yes right, as long as the coin we choose already has a good reputation and tracks then no need to hesitate to put all our money on one coin, and the coins we deserve to choose among others: Bitcoin, Dash, Litecoin, Ethereum and so on.

Going all in on 1 asset is suicide man. However, going all in on crypto is the same. The whole market moves in unison so spread your capital in other markets too.

therefore from the entry into the crypto must be together so that no word suicide.karena assets sold in the market is not 1 but more yang.hingga other markets ya

Not too much, but you have to consider that you can invest in a good project not a scam coin if you want to invest all your money in one altcoin. Bitcoin and Ethereum is the best choices if you want to hold it for a long time.

You should seriously think about this. If you want to take a chance, take only short-term perspective coins. And so I advise you to contribute only "extra" money
No one has thought to waste their money in their investment. Everyone did their best, I guess. Those 500$, I'm sure it is the extra money. If it's not, what a serious problem that might occur then. Thinking about other stuffs for family, don't be careless about the financial situation. I agree that the small amount of money is more appropriate for short term investment.

If you invest is indeed the risk is enormous and I think you are not only investing in 1 Altcoins. You can invest at ETH, NEO and Stellar as you could get opportunities not only in 1 coins. And I think it is better because I myself have never invested in coins and the results are very pleasing.

if i was you, of course i won't put all my money in one basket.

i will split it to 3-5 altcoin.

Just do your research first and if you are newbie, i suggest u not do ICO.

you can invest in the top 10 cryptocurrency or other after you do your research.

Well as a standard rule in any market and when making any investment decision in life its always best to have some hedge or alternative. I men you could go to any money manager and they will always tell you diversification is necessary. I mean would you feel alright if you had invested all of your families funds/savings/education fund etc into one stock or even just one sector or industry. Yes it could work but the risk would just be to high in case you are wrong.
Now crypto in general is even more riskier than traditional markets and should be treated with even more caution. With the sector the way it is and so many scams out there you dont want to have your entire portfolio in one coin unless that's BTC. Proper risk management will always work out more often than not and will give you steady gains over the long term/I think it's worth it to participate in ico, I recommend that you pay attention to eloncity Kiss

Investing all of your money in 1 altcoin is really risky. I strongly believe that this is true because as of what is happening in the market right now which experiences low price for few months gives you a low profit for months. Although you can still gain but only gain small or worst you don't have a profit especially some coins that drop the most. Better choose to invest in 2-3 alts instead at least even if the other coin drops price still you can still gain in other coins. And if ever the other coins drop you can still have other coin that would balance the lost.

Concentrated investment also has benefits. You can get considerable benefits from an accurate choice, but the risk of concentrated investment is also obvious. Once this cryptocurrency keeps falling, you will lose all your investment funds!

As opposed to the popular opinion(diversify), I'd put my money in one coin.
You need to choose this one very wisely, something that is worth your money.
Something with a small inflation and a huge potential. Privacy oriented possibly.

My personal opinion is that buying all money  in one altcoins is definitely risky.Imagine that the team runs away or the team cannot implement the idea or there comes a better competitor.

Hi,
the altocoin market is so variuous and there are dozen of interesting projects that can be supported.

But  i'm a little investor (500$) and i'm seriously thinking to put all my money in only 1 project I think is very good which curretly is in the top 40 of altcoins. I don't want to say the name because my topic wants to be very general: what do you think is the risk  by doing so? Should I invest in 2 or 3 coins instead?

Thanks
I don’t think there is any risk in the coins with a market value of 40. Mainly depends on the price you buy. If your price is relatively high, then you may have to wait longer to make a profit. Your risk is time cost.

not really. even sometimes I hold all the assets I have into 1 form of cryptocurrency. sometimes it's more profitable when the price goes up, but of course it all risks when the price falls.
