I have GTX 950s, but they're 4GB models - still able to mine ETH on them at 10-11 Mh/s - but 2GB models won't work any more due to the too large size of the ETH DAG file.
They MIGHT still work on ETC though, as I believe the ETC DAG fill is a fair bit smaller.

Might want to try NiceHash on your rig, see what it comes up with to mine.

the gtx 950 was never made into a 4gb model, maybe you have a gtx 960 Grin

Hmmm, I'd have to go check then - I just know my 3 are still working on ETH and if they're 2GB they shouldn't be.

I have a pair of 960s AS WELL - I'm not confusing the 2 as all of my 950s are the shortie ITX single-fan model while the 960s are quite a bit longer 2 fan models - the 960s are on NiceHash doing something 'cause they don't mine ETH noticeable better (half a MH or so at most) vs the 960s but they ARE noticeably better at other algorythms.

Not only no but HELL no.

LTC (Scrypt) was taken over by ASIC a few years ago.
DASH (X11) was taken over by ASIC last year.

IMO for a 950 just put Nicehash on the machine and let it pick - the coins a 950 can mine now tend to bounce around fairly often on profitability, too big a PITA to track them IMO.

And yes, it turned out my 950 cards were 2GB - just for some reason they were able to mine ETH for about a month longer than my 2GB AMD-based cards.
