After 20.4.2 the memory change to real memory in PhoenixMiner is not half... the crashes come because you push to high the memory... test all of them at 1750 Mhz ...

So I tried driver 20.3.1 and it seemed like it almost worked.
I was playing around with it for about 10 hours yesterday!

Here are my results:
If they have a hashrate and a wattage it means that it worked for a brief amount of time... that is until it didn't.
Sometimes I get the BSOD that says VIDEO_TDR_FAILURE which according to a quick Google search says that it's likely a bad driver or GPU. But since 19.9.1 seems to work fine I'm thinking it's driver related.
And when I say "crash" I mean that it results in 0 MH/s.

545.83 MH/s @ 1203W

-mi 14 -wdog 0 -cclock 1350 -cvddc 820 -mclock 1800 -mvddc 850 -tstop 80 -tstart 60 -hstats 2 -tt 50  -ttli 90 -mt 2 stable over 10 minutes then crashes
543.87 MH/s @ 1235W

-mi 14 -wdog 0 -cclock 1350 -cvddc 820 -mclock 1800 -mvddc 850 -tstop 85 -tstart 60 -hstats 2 -tt 50  -ttli 95 -mt 2 stable over 15 minutes then eventually a random gpu crashes

-mi 14 -wdog 0 -cclock 1325 -cvddc 820 -mclock 1800 -mvddc 850 -tstop 85 -tstart 60 -hstats 2 -tt 50  -ttli 95 -mt 2 GPU 3 crash

-wdog 1 -cclock 1300 -cvddc 820 -mclock 1780 -mvddc 850 -tstop 85 -tstart 60 -hstats 2 -tt 50  -ttli 95 -mt 2 half of the cards won't initialize (all 0 MH/s) and won't even give fan speed results.

-cclock 1350 -cvddc 820 -mclock 1800 -mvddc 850 -tstop 85 -tstart 60 -hstats 2 -tt 50  -ttli 95 -mt 2 GPU 0, 6, 7, 8, 9 won't hash

-cclock 1350 -cvddc 820 -mclock 1750 -mvddc 850 -tstop 85 -tstart 60 -hstats 2 -tt 50  -ttli 95 -mt 2 GPU 1 won't recognize

I go back to 19.9.1 via system restore and all work beautifully at 1350MHz Core, 875MHz Mem, 780mv

Most miners show as a virus. That is because people put them in with viruses. so you mine to there address. Phoenix miner is NOT a virus. That is for sure. Neither are any of the miners on bitcoin talk.

1. Accurate statement

Phoenix miner is NOT a virus.

2. Another accurate statement

Phoenix miner is NOT a virus. Neither are any of the miners on bitcoin talk.

3.  Not necessarily an accurate statement.  it's accurate if you go to the post of well established miners in bitcointalk along with their perspective post.   However, it's not necessarrily accurate with new miners posted by newbie or hacked accounts.  Nor is it necessarily true when you have newbie or hacked accounts trying to pass off new post of old miners as their own with "improvements" or "enhancements" Roll Eyes

Hi, exist some GPU option like -rxboost in Claymore miner? I have 33.5Mh (RX580 8Gb) with -rxboost, and 32Mh on Phoenix (with autotune), but this miner better for my 4Gb cards.

i am newbie here (8gb setup /4 gb setup)

my 1st rig setup running with rx570 8gb .but all my hash only 26/mh with 5 card each i only tune with 2100mhz v rem here is my setting..kindly advice..

thanks

REM
REM Example bat file for starting PhoenixMiner.exe to mine ETH
REM

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

REM IMPORTANT: Replace the ETH address with your own ETH wallet address in the -wal option (Rig001 is the name of the rig)
PhoenixMiner.exe -pool eth-asia1.nanopool.org:9999 -wal !!!!!!!!!!/xxxxxxxx-pass x

No need for command line. Just edit config.txt and you can use my config. I get 26,7 MH/s with modified BIOS:

Quote
-pool ssl://eu1.ethermine.org:5555

-wal YOURWALLET.%computername%

-amd
-clgreen 1
-astats 1
-gbase 0
-mt 2

-acm
-leaveoc
-altinit
-powlim -20
-tt 64
-tmax 66
-fanmin 65
-fanmax 95
-fcm 2

10x for the settings, can you explain which of these make 4Gb cards to work?

why not try clocking it down or undervolting ?
less volts creates less heat.

Thanks dude Smiley
Coming from nvidia and setting up my first rig of 5700XT, so I'm noob here with AMD as you just saw  Cheesy

But do we have to set it in the miner options, or is it doable in a soft like MSI afterburner ( or Wattman ), after having modified / unlocked values the BIOS with RBE and MorePowerTools ?

I don't think so, other 5 cards in the same rig are hashing ok....

Maybe you write more about your config? Cards, system, drivers, command line? More strings from log? Before asking...
