2 questions:

1) Is phoenixminer open source?

2) On startup, phoenixMiner prints out a list of GPU's. On each line is a percentage value. What does this number represent?

Thanks,

Joe

1) It is not open source.

2) The percentage is the DAG being loaded into memory on each GPU. Once it reaches 100% mining will start.

"PhoenixMiner.exe" is the file that needs to be set to run as administrator

It's time to build with a newer version of CUDA. NBMiner and T-rex use this. They have a higher speed with less power consumption. Especially on RTX3000 cards

isn't CUDA 11 the latest?
I was getting higher HAsh with Trex but I would get more failed shares.
with Phoneix I can raise the mem all the way to +1500 on rtx 3060 ti  but only after the Dag is done. I have to start the phonex on mem of max +1000 or I end up with failed shares
following that I can run at 63.4MH on 130W

Hi All. Some days I have the following problem.

All my cards ignore any values of memory clock (MC) overckloking (CC and PL changes work correct). All the time I use MSI AB. I tried to use PM overclocking params, but result is the same.

My mining speed has decreased from 180 to 128. Please help!

This is for people using Phoenix miner and their GPU for mining.

No CPU mining involved

Yeah. I'm having the same issue with my RTX 3080. Just from reading through the last couple of pages of comments it sounds like it has something to do with the 460.79 GeForce driver for Cyberpunk but I don't have conformation yet.

nvml.dll fix didn't work for me.

Are you sure of this ? I get exactly the same hashrate with t-rex latest or phoenix with my 3060ti Smiley

In AB I reseted to default all values and use AB only to control fan speed with manually defined curve (unfortunatelly PM does not provide that functionality), PL, CC and MC are defined in PM config. Try to do the same. Also (not sure you need it) I increased swap file from 65536Mb to 131072Mb.

Pay attention on eres parameter.

Я aбcoлютнo yвepeн в cкaзaннoм. Я тecтиpyю мaйнepы нa кapтax 3060ti/3070/3080. ocoбeннo зaмeтнa paзницa нa 3080. Oни пoтpeбляют oщyтимo мeньшe нa тoм жe nbminer. Ecли включить фeникc c тeми жe нacтpoйкaми, нa кoтopыx иcпoльзoвaлcя nbminer, тo oн бyдeт выдaвaть нa 3-4mh/s мeншe c 3080. Пpидeтcя пoднять PL для дocтижeния близкoгo жe xeшpeйтa.

I am Absolutely sure of what has been said. I'm testing manners on 3060ti/3070/3080 cards. the difference at 3080 is particularly noticeable. they consume significantly less on the same nbminer. If you enable Phoenix with the same settings that nbminer was used on, it will output 3-4mh/s less from 3080. You will have to raise the PL to achieve a close hashrate.

following that I can run at 63.4MH on 130W
Now the CUDA version is 11.2. The problem of overclocking before the formation of the dag is the same for all miners. and if the dag is changed, then the 3060/3070 cards will give out rejects.

Same technique here.
I start miner for DAG with +1000

And then +1500 with PL55% on my 2 3060ti's

Result here : 130W, 62.7 mhs
Can't get any higher.
I'm satisfied enough though with this Smiley

I try this, but same speed as on AB, changing memory clock don't increase mining speed. I tested this in my pc. I have 1x 1070 zotac. I rig i have 2x 1060 and 2x 1070, hashrate is smaller then claymore.

You have to see if that translates to that hashrate at the pool.
