IDK if this has been talked about yet, but I would like to make a suggestion: I feel as though it probably possible to port this miner into a Universal Windows Platform App ( https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/uwp/get-started/universal-application-platform-guide). I know nothing about building miners but if this is possible, it could allow mining on an Xbox as UWPs are runnable on xbox and have access to their GPU. I have attempted to do this myself with other open source C# miners but they are all in .NET Framework and would be hell to try and port over. I would try it with this one but its closed source and exe are not directly executable. Since this one can target Linux, I am assuming this is C# on .NET Core which would be quite easy to move over (also could work if it was C++). Any thoughts on this?

the invalid shares is because when it creates dag for a new epoch the overclock is too hard on the memory, there is an eth miner that has slow dag generation process feature for that reason, once its generated it works ok with the overclock
The problem is on some cards, the OC doesn't even have to be that aggressive for it to lose its mind.

Hello! Only recently within the past few days I've been having this issue where the PhoenixMiner console is all of a sudden disappearing/invisible from the screen in Windows 10 and it won't come back up no matter what method I use to restore the window. It's still running as a process and mining though even without the display since I am able to see the worker with an active and appropriate hashrate in my mining pool dashboard. It's just that now I'm unable to view the stats of my GPUs without having to close out the miner and starting it again which in turn brings unnecessary downtime for everything to ramp up again. Anybody else facing this issue or have any ideas on how to resolve it?

AMD has its driver installers saved by default at c:\amd. So, just browse there and find the driver version you want to re-install.

When are you going to update to run the latest drivers? I mine during the day and game at night on this system. Just like having the latest and greatest.

Hi.
Does anyone knows a way to implement some kind of "devfee"? I manage rigs for others as a job and want to automatize the way they pay me. Switching to my wallet few minutes a day would be great.
Write a batch script that sets a timer for every 24 hours, and every 24 hours, have phoenixminer restart with a DIFFERENT wallet id, then after a few minutes have it restart back to the clients wallet. BEFORE DOING THIS PLEASE TELL YOUR CLIENT YOU ARE GOING TO BE DOING THIS Hope this helps, QuickAccount.

Check your batch file, you may have a incorrect start script, then grab a new version of PhoenixMiner, and verify with checksums, i'm not going to recommend specific software for this Hope this helps, QuickAccount

Nicehash now sponsoring LinusTechTips for restore their lost reputation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swOj0wvuCO8But really why would someone want to work with Nicehash and mining ETH but receive BTC with those super high fees instead? I used Nicehash a few years ago for 2 weeks but not only BTC fees not worth it but also their pool always make less profits than ethermine.org even in exacts same situations. NiceHash's pool is terrible, and their service is terrible, and their whole company is terrible, if you want BTC bad enough, shell out the money for a high hashrate dedicated miner, I would recommend AntMiner. Big profits to be had seeing how much prices are rising and dropping in crypto currently. Hope this helps, QuickAccount

I like this miner software, but I can't setup all around properly for my single GPU RTX 3080. I would like to target memory temperature and not fan fixed (gpu is cold) but this isn't enough: -dbg -1 -allpools 1 -mode 1 -tt -88 -fcm 2 -tmax 50 -powlim -29 -cclock -500 -mclock +1300 Any suggestion? Eth: Maximum difficulty of found share: 3953.5 GH (!) Eth: Average speed (5 min): 91.444 MH/s Eth: Effective speed: 89.57 MH/s; at pool: 88.71 MH/s ...and the pool shows 85 MH/s real :| If I try to speed up the memory, only real time get benefits, but on "at pool" stay at around 90MH/s~

Hey Im new to this mining thing, I mined some etherium last month semi successfully. Im using a single AMD rx 5700 xt , it works but the miner would crash ocassionally. Every second or third day. From reading a bit here on the forums I see that rolling back the AMD drivers would help. Could you please suggest which exactly driver I should reroll to? Im using the latest one right now 21.3.1. Would it be possible to use some commands also to prevent crashing? I would like to keep the drivers up to date so that I can game on this PC as well. Here is the screenshot of the crash https://prnt.sc/11335i6

Here is the screenshot of the crash 21.3.1 and 21.3.2 are NOT compatible and have problems with Phoenix at the moment. The next version is going to fix it, but no information has been given on the version number or when it will be released. To be honest, 21.1.x was the last really good version. 21.2.1 crashed a LOT when trying to mine and web browse at the same time with my Radeon 6800(non-XT), 21.2.2 and 21.2.3 helped, but still had the occasional driver not responding and recovery(I am using 21.2.3 but performance is down a touch compared to the 21.1 series).

I'm just now reading about this situation. A great read. This is the sort of crazy drama that always seems to pop it's head up around bubble time, especially when it comes to NiceHash. I have always recommended to people that mining on NiceHash with their GPUs is a great way to get started in the crypto space. It does seem like there's a suspicious amount of shenanigans coming from there though. This latest event having all sorts of questionable behavior that is suspiciously self serving.

Mega from the first post (link ends with * bw) has been restored to it a long time ago. But phoenix now prefers github. In any case, always compare the sha checksums of the exe file.
