Some suggestions for the devs: the share difficulty is a nice touch but it would be better to directly show the number of blocks found. Most pools doesn't report this and even when they do, I'm always suspicions. Also, your miner does seem to be compatible with Claymore's manager, which is nice, but I hope that you will produce a better manager (and maybe even a mobile app for Android), because the claymore's manager is rather simplistic and I miss a lot of features.

I somewhat agree but mining pools seldom reward for blocks found. We find and solve as a team so irrelevant for my application. I do like that this miner displays my best share to the pool. Maybe if solo mining might be a useful feature ...IMO

The current difficulty for each coin varies greatly all the time, so there is no way to show accurate information without constantly checking out the current difficulty. The pools never send the miner the real difficulty, only the required minimum difficulty for each share, so the miner will have to open connections to other sites. While this is doable, we prefer not to go down this way for now. However this feature may be incorporated in our control center - a GUI application that will allow local or remote control of your miner as well as easy configuration (which brings us to your second suggestion).

Along with the usual statistics, the control center will be able to show the real-time statistics from the major pools, and in later versions, even the real-time statistics of money earned per hour/day/month, etc. Overall, it would have a lot more features than claymore's remote manager but the downside is that it will take some time to develop fully.

Hi Admin, I did receive the information to download the new PheonixMiner 2.2 version but I have some questions. The download was in .exe format. Is this a new UI for the miner? I assumed it would come in the original format with some added -coin formats and perhaps tweaks. Can you please clarify? Thanks!

Yes, the PhoenixMiner.exe replaces the same file from version 2.1 (this is the miner itself, not the UI - it is not ready for release yet). The rest of the files from the zip are not changed. So you just need to replace PhoenixMiner.exe with the new file (it will show version 2.2b).

It should be able to detect the coin that you are mining automatically but if it doesn't you can use -coin etp to force it.

12 hours mining ETP with no issues PheonixMiner 2.2. I'm pretty impressed so far. Can't tell when Dev fee mining starts or ends. So far so good!

We want to keep the colors of all ethash-related messages the same because when the dual mining is introduced, it could become really hard to read if the colors are mixed.

You can press the 's' key in the miner's console window to see the full stats (including the maximum found share difficulty) or you can view the last 100 or so messages from the miner console with your browser at http://127.0.0.1:3333/ (replace 127.0.0.1 with the IP address of the miner if you are accessing it from other computer in the same LAN).

We'll see how fast they will ramp up production. Given the past history it would take some time before the GPU mining for these coins becomes obsolete.

They sold 3600 units in first batch that supposedly is coming out in June

By their estimate, that will bring about 3200 TH/s to the network, that is currently running at 350TH/s

Then again, baikal announced their ASIC too, that should work with all algos currently used

by Claymore for dual mining, so I guess no harm done adding support for few more months

Your best bet for getting people to use it more, would be adding a secondary algo that isn't already covered by Claymore

If considering sia for dual.... please also consider those coin for single algo mining ..... like i can run sia solomining on my rig.
