Yes shipping to USA from UK via Royal Mail International Signed For is £9.99 or £12.49 for larger parcels.

I can use a cheaper service but the only guaranteed service that requires a signature on delivery and is fully trackable online is this one. Also includes upto £500 compensation if the parcel is lost. (Covers the refund / replacement value for all my items)

Do you have any experience with vaporizers? I've never tried one before but want to get one. I'm looking for a discreet and inconspicuous model. I've also read some of them can heat the weed up too much and end up combusting it, so I need one that will not do this and be free of cannabis odour. Thanks.

I have tried most of them over the years. My current personal preference is the Vapman which is manual (ie. you use a lighter to heat the element) I think this is just because I used to smoke pipes though so it feels most like that to me.

If you want really stealthy then the Puffit is the way to go - looks exactly like a standard asthma inhaler but some users say it does not produce thick enough vapour. I haven't personally used this one so can't comment.

Out of the models I currently stock and have tried I would highly recommend the Da Vinci which has digital temperature control so you can regulate exactly the heat you apply. The Vivape is also a great digital vape but is more expensive as it features an all glass pathway. The Magic Flight Launch Box is also very good and simple to use. Its probably the best selling portable vaporizer on the market.

I don't hold stock on these but can get them in a day or two. I also have a cheaper wax burner available which does oils and concentrates (Sticky Lips Wax burner @ £50 + shipping)

If I was spending £100 though and it was solely for use with herbs I would go with the Magic Flight just because they are bulletproof but they don't look as discreet as a pen vape.

I emailed Pax direct every couple of months for the last year asking about UK availability. Always the same reply.

This always happens when distribution isn't in place early on. The market gets flooded with copies at half the RRP or less and the value of the original comes down to the upper end of this as the 'fake' price becomes normalised. I have had a few new models in (Daisy, Vapocane etc) but not really in the same style as the Pax.

I am expecting delivery in a few weeks of something similar - Its a design that has been re-badged by a few companies and goes by the names Vapormax / Vaporsense / Flowermate depending on where you buy them from. It's a compact portable with ceramic heating chamber - Images below. They should be retailing around £150 / 0.75BTC.

There are plenty of new models coming available - The Alfa looks very nice, well built and getting good reviews. The new portables from Storz & Bickel (Who make the Volcano) should also be available very soon.

The only pens I am aware of that can be classed as 'true' vaporizers are the more advanced ones with ceramic heating chambers protecting herbs from the heating element and have high quality and accurate temperature controls. The only ones I stock are slightly larger than a stick pen style vaporizer but are of a much better quality and won't burn herbs. The thin pen style ones just don't cut it still which is reflected in their much cheaper price.

I use the Da Vinci original as well as the Ascent regularly and they are both solid vapes. You have a little more control with the Ascent and it features an all glass pathway which some users prefer. The Da Vinci V2 for the money though is rock solid and it does dry herbs and oils etc with the included Oil Cans. They have come down in cost at wholesale since Da Vinci launched the Ascent so I am offering them @ £99.95 / 0.56BTC now when they used to be £149.95 / 0.85BTC. For that price point they are one of the best digital options out there IMO.

With regard to the Pax they are now being made available to EU / UK through selected distributors. I expect to have stock in a couple of weeks or hopefully by August at the latest.

I should be receiving my Vapium Summit from BitcoinAccepted here soon, and I will do a writeup on it here in this thread.  from what I've read its a great non combust vape for the price, but I've also heard Pax and Da Vinci make great gear.  I think out of the two you are looking at currently, both are going to 100% vape and not combust your herbs.  It just depends on how much you want to pay.  Right now im using an Imag+ pen style vape and it doesn't combust at all, the only knock on it is the air pathway mesh screen is way too easy to clog up,  Im hoping the Vapium is better in that regards.  We shall see

check out the youtube reviews on the Vapium, it might be what your looking for regarding portability and non combusting

Da Vinci 2 is an upgraded version of the original featuring longer battery life, improved insulation in the chamber and magnetic snap close lid as opposed to straightforward hinge.

The Ascent is not based on previous models and built new from the ground up. Features include a total glass vapor pathway (Glass herb holder which sits inside the heating chamber, glass airway and glass stems / mouthpiece). There is more control over the temperatures, slightly wider temp range and it's programmable so you cycle through temp settings ie. 180 for 30 secs then 195 for 15 secs etc. it's a very complete unit but nearly double the price of the original.

I'm forever recommending the Magic Flight to people as a first Vape. No it's not digital, no you don't have much control over temperature and the batteries only last for a couple of hits but what you do get is a piece that always functions - Indoors / Outdoors, rain, wind, sunshine. It's made to a very high standard. The return rate is almost zero (as there's practically nothing that can go wrong) and it produces thick, clean, pure vapor everytime. I have several floating about as well as the oil version and as long as I have a couple of batteries handy (you need to buy 4-6 spare so you always have them charged) then it's about 5 seconds to load and another 10 seconds and your'e inhaling. The one downside is you can burn your herbs but only via user error (leaving the battery engaged too long).

Received my Vapium Summit last week.  Initial inspections are that it's very solid.  I love how it vibrates when the unit is ready to go, and how the lid for the chamber and mouth piece are held on via magnets, and the air pathway is not restrictive at all from my initial burn off test (without anything in it)

Overall impressions are very good, really small portable device to take on the go.

I'll be posting a better review with some pics and a smoke report in a couple weeks.

Its illegal to germinate any seed of the genus cannabis in UK. Owning the seed is a completely seperate issue. The UK has one of the strongest seed markets in the world with more retailers here than most countries.

The UK government are always happy to take VAT on a market valued in the tens of millions!

The Honey Bee (Or any of the butane extractors on the market) is very easy to use. One important point to make is that the extractions should always be carried out outside with good ventilation - butane is highly flamable and there have been a numbre of documented cases of people seriously injuring themselves when extracting oils from plants using butane - done properly its very straightforward and relatively safe.

You collect flowers / leaves / dried plant material from you favorite herb or plant - the material should be dry as possible and ground up as fine as possible. If you use leaf etc the quality of the oil you get from the extractor is a lot lower. If you use top end flowers the quality of the oil is much higher. You use butane to pull the essential oils from your herbs or flowers.

The extractor works by a process of polar extraction - You basically stuff the extractor as tight as possible full of dried plant material (the better quality the material the better the end result). You then use pure refined butane (any butane will do the job but as the resulting oil is often taken internally its best to use the highest grade possible - you can find 99.9% pure filtered butane online (I don't sell the butane as too much hassle to ship with handling restrictions etc). You empty a can or a couple of cans of butane through the extractor and leave it to come out into a pyrex or silicone non stick / scratch dish or bowl. The resulting liquid butane is then evaporated leaving you with a sticky honey oil that contains much of the essential nature of the stock material and some of the terpenes etc.

The honey bee is quite a basic model and some people don't like it as its plastic (although it is a made of a special type of no-corrosive plastic designed for butane). There is a glass model available which is much bigger and I also have a range of higher end units (Dexso one use Di-methyl-Ether as the polar solvent to perform to the extraction). I have re-circulating / closed loop systems available also and stock a range of silicone products for storage and handling of the oil.

An additional step taken by many is to use a vaccuum oven to 'purge' the extract (providing you do the evaporating step correctly and make sure there are no tiny bubbles left in the extract it may or may not be neccesary but a vacuum oven makes sure that all butane is expelled from the extract by forcing it out under pressure)

                   

The resulting oil depends on the type of herb and the techniques you use but can range from thick dark waxy brown to a beautiful clear amber honey colour. eg.

For small portable pocket vapes I always reccomend the Vapman and the MFLB - The Vapman is manual (you use a jetflame lighter to heat the chamber) and functions more like a pipe but produces vapor instead of smoke. The MFLB is widely popular and is battery operated - for the money its probably the best portable reliable vape you can get.

Moving up to home portable vapes I'd look at something like the Arizer solo or Air which always get great reviews and are as good on a tabletop as in your hand - Also the Crafty and Mighty from Storz and Bickel who make the Volcano - They are both rock solid German made reliable and fully digital with temperature control.

Cannabis seeds are legal in many EU member states.

Despite Portugals very progressive approach to drug policy from 2001 the purchase and import of cannabis seeds was made illegal from 2003. Cultivation of seeds is also illegal there.

Many seedbanks will ship to Portugal but as I operate on open forums etc. I am always mindful of individual countries laws. For me from UK to Portugal is illegal to ship. You will find a number of seedbanks online who have no issue with shipping though.

Yeah undoubtedly its going to be a solid vape. The Ascent for me has always been pretty solid but I know a few people who have had problems.

The CFX for the money is great - On a par with the Crafty / Mighty at a lot less money and faster heat up time etc.

I'm also looking forward to the CFV / CFC from Boundless later this year.
