They'll have to remove the 0.01 minimum on trades and withdrawals. Otherwise there's quite a number of people who won't be able to withdraw their coins. I don't have 0.01 BTC there, wouldn't even after trading everything else to BTC.

I don't want to have to download a dozen or more wallet programs just to withdraw everything.

Does anyone know if they will refund us on the original coins we had on the site or in bitcoins or Litecoins?

Coinex could please be just a bit more detailed on how this will happen.

Thanks

Why do you even care if you have .01, i guess that is the whole scam........ every .01 adds up...  , i agree tho shouldnt even have a .01 limit for an exchange should be more like .0001 which is the min for any btc transcation.

I have been with these guys for THREE "UPGRADES" so far. I fucking love them AND trust them.

I don't want a "refund" unless it is necessary, just want that balance to be carried over like last time.

Good luck fellas.

I agree with you, they didn't communicate much at all during the other lengthy downtimes, and as of now it's not as if we have much of a choice but to wait for a little bit.

That's not to say that I'm not very concerned about the lack of details given about which coins were taken exactly and how are they are planning on refunding everyone what coins, I am.

Another update.

Initial 24h timeframe was a bit too optimistic, we need more time to catch up.
While we're waiting for an answer from a few investors, we came up to another idea which could bring much more trust into the bitcoin community.

Long story short: an insurance company for Bitcoin-based services.

More will come soon, keep calm & carry on.

Thanks!

So basically your wallet server got hacked, all your coins are lost, and after that you want to create an insurance company?

PS: Man, am I happy I didn't have any funds with you since a couple of weeks.

Only after he steals all ur coins and replaces him with all the btc/altcoins hes gained... just dumps on the market we try to invest in.   You aren't fooling anybody man, even when you replace our shit, how much of it will be gone, and how much is lost so we can't even recoup off of?   I was going for long haul, so my shit could be gone or skimmed at least, while other people were going for short haul and lost tons of shit.

You talk about this like it's a new idea. It's been done already (Elliptic Vault).

Backed by one of the worlds biggest insurers (lloyds of london).

And it run by non-anonymous individuals fronted by a legit company.

Where's the blockchain proof of the stolen funds?

Since the pervert losers in the government couldn't find their ass with both hands its up to the people to take out the trash.

Has anyone here reported the CoinEX shutdown to the local police? If so, what did they say?

Anyone initiate a lawsuit against the owner(s)?

It's not fair to claim the legal system has failed before anyone has actually tried it.

Gox is in the hands of the courts, and what do you know, the owner "found" hundreds of thousands of BTC.

Unlike other exchanges that take days for explanations and offer vague "coins will be refunded next week" after claiming they were all gone (what?), AllCrypt.com is back online with less than 48 hours downtime.

Public details about the losses and reimbursements if any will be posted on the blog as soon as I'm able. There's an issue that's keeping me from releasing that information until another issue is resolved.

Take a hint from the new guy on the block CoinEx - try some transparency and honesty. People tend to appreciate that.

We started AllCrypt.com after being unhappy with Cryptsy and CoinEx, though there was a lot about CoinEx we did like. It's very similar in a lot of ways. Come give us a look. Even have a trollbox Wink

Yes, we got hit. And we stopped it and got back up and running in less than 2 days. No site is perfect. You measure them in how they react to that adversity. Well, I do anyway. Shit happens to people. Exchanges are targets. No site is perfect. It's how you react to that that matters.

Everybody does things differently. coinex could have had other people they talked to that recommended other options that take longer to implement. I'm sure if you have more experience you could pm them and offer assistance. I'm sure whether they or you is secure is more important in the whole than who's getting my business in the short run.

Like the info address for potential tips Wink

Why hasn't the stock value dropped at https://cryptostocks.com/securities/79 ?

I would think the stock value should have dropped 80% or more.

The Volume doesn't look like they sold a bunch of stock to help reimburse the loss.

only 5% of Mkt cap in the last week was traded, So it's NOT looking as if they sold a large amount of their own stock to finance the reopen.

But it's nice that they are saying they are working on getting the mess cleaned up. Meanwhile there are secondary sites where I can still trade at.
