If ICO won't be control for using this to have illegal crowdfunding then there will be no other option than banning it. That's why other company prefer to call their sale a PRE SALE rather than PRE ICO, maybe because when investors heard the word ico and one thing pop up in their mind. It's a scam.

NO!! but the number of frauds are increasing. peoples are getting aware of them eventually less support will mark the end of ICO by 2018 or 2019.

The success of ICOs will ultimately depend on how well it is marketed. If not done properly, then not many will be interested thus failing its main goal of getting poeple involved.

No it won't, ico still hot and the demand is still high so i don't think it will die next year, but i believe we need more regulation to prevent these icos to do as they want as soon as they get the money. I hope there's more regulation so icos will be better next year.

I do not think ICO will die next year. I admit that next year their number may be reduced due to the introduction of some countries control over the ICO. But only worthwhile projects will remain on the market, and we will only benefit from this.

What do you mean die? I think that in 2018 this will be a revolutionary year for ICO's and cryptocurrency. Because many businesses known ICOS and it makes the idea of it boom. So no, it'll not die this 2018.

I don't think it will die but the best solution for ICOs is a regulation tip eliminate false and scam ICOs which are basically a lot of young cryptocurrency investors' money wasted into the hands of the bad guys. We already have a a couple of thousands of active cryptocurrencies today and still yet there's more to come next year so I think regulating ICO is the best solution.

He mean that is there a chance to ICOs will be banned because there are so many cryptocurrencies today and seems that investors are confused which one is better and which are not. An ICO should be regulated although it cannot be stopped. People will then invest to ICOs who are accredited and certified to eliminate confusions.

I think ICO will not die in 2018, it will even always be there for the next 10 years (according to my estimation), because there are more and more ICO enthusiasts

That is why some governments and states are pushing a bill towards regulation for ICOs because everyone can make their own Cryptocurrency and ICO but they're incapable of running an entire project system. I do believe certified and accredited ICOs are more effective.

As because of those scam ico, people are getting away from that kind of market strategy, ico is a good way to earn coin with a discount but untrustable. Lets just beware and do our own research.

it is unlikely that ICO will die in 2018, especially now that ICO enthusiasts are increasingly becoming more and more ICO, so I believe ICO will remain forever ICO users will be more and more.

In 2018 there's a lot of ICOS will opened, so I think that no more ICO's going death. Because due to good services of them many peoples are believe and still supports the ICO's project. In addition thru help of ICOs projects many opportunities will open to opened to us.

I don't think governments will approve ICOs on anonymity like the previous Komodo and Monero.

ICO is the best way to raise fund for a great idea, especially if this idea is related to blockchain. I don't deny that there are many scams, but we shouldn't ban ICO as a whole.

ICOs are definitely good deals especially for legitimate coins. The thing is, we are not certain which of them can be trusted.

I hope the ICO craze will end soon. I don't think cryptos should be mixed with startups/kickstarters. Cryptos should be trustless, transparent and decentralized, ICOs are none of those things so using a blockchain platform doesn't really offer any benefits to them, in fact just giving a bad name to cryptos.
I dont think by the same way as you, icos are a good thing after all. Maybe without them, there would not even be a quarter of all the altcoins that are on the top 20 at the moment. Well for me, ICo's is still profitable and still can make money. And I believe that it will be the same in 2018. Even though there are a lot of scammer in ICO , i know we can still found some one that can be trusted especially in terms of investment. Aside from that , ICO are good investment because you can collect funds from it that you can use in building a small project.

No way ICO will die in 2018 since it will exist until it will give profit to developers and investors. I don see a reason why would anyone want to fight against a easy profit. The problem is, this will attract more scammers.
