Pavel Lerner, owner of EXMO was likely kidnapped in Ukraine according to reports from local media. Lerner lost contact on December 26th after kidnappers pulled him into a car. Lerner is a 40-year-old Russian citizen based in Kiev who also has resident status in Poland. He’s responsible for several startups connected with blockchain and cryptocurrencies.
According to Ukrainian media, Lerner disappeared near his place of work in Kiev. Attackers pulled him into a black Mercedes Vito and drove off. Currently, there may be problems with accessing the website of the stock exchange itself. In addition, according to twitter, a DDoS attack is currently underway.
