Hi guys,

I sent some bitcoin from my exchange (btcmarkets.net) to a wallet 3+days ago, and recently realised the fixed fee set by the exchange is rather low, and my transaction is now stuck in limbo. I would appreciate any help provided..

I tried set up an account with Antpool with no success....
I tried https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ for a couple of days now on the hour, but all I get is "Submissions are beyond limit. Please try later."

https://blockchain.info/tx/92cab4058e26e5963eb0552602c832923de66b840a44f567eb87f1c41383bb26

Would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

fughi
The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

34sat/byte is really low nowadays. You can try doing CPFP method where you will use the coins you recieved in a new transaction and pay high fees so miners will have to confirm the first transaction so they could get the fees of the second transaction

That's not Antpool, that's Viabtc. You need to be really fast/lucky to be one of the 100 people to successfully submit within the hour, on the hour. I find this window disappears in a second or so. If I am ever successful, it doesn't appear again. I've stopped using it to help people now too.

Antpool's one is here: https://www.antpool.com/user/prioritiseTransaction.htm?m=savePrioritiseTx
You'll need a mobile number verified to use it. It isn't very good any longer as it still prioritises higher fees, but at least you know you'll eventually be looked at. Try it, it'll happen in about 3 days or 15, based on my unscientific experience at your fee level and current mempool.

As xyakult says, very low fee, so you should tell the exchange to be ashamed of themselves.

Yeh, I have since learnt that 34sat/byte is way too low. I transferred from an exchange (mine) to a Ledger Nano S wallet - Segwit (mine)
Would I be able to do a CPFP? If so, could you please explain how?

I don't know how ledger nano works, I don't have one but if you can get your private key from it, you can import to it a wallet that can let you spend unconfirmed inputs, pay higher fees and hope it will be picked up by the miners
