Let me remind you that especially thanks to Carrier Elastos is truly scalable and efficient.
Because on Carrier the efficiency of the nodes adds up: whether it is computing power, storage, or connection bandwidth.
Overall system performance is not reduced to the performance of a single node (as in the case of blockchain).

So only now we can build actual dApps.
And almost every application in existence can be converted to its P2P counterpart in Elastos.

However, we absolutely should not deny blockchain relevance.
Even though blockchain does not serve as the basis of communication, Elastos applications can use it for specific functions (that require minimized trust).

The current cryptocurrency market is almost absolutely dominated by the solution of securing blockchain only with capital, as a result of an attempt to match the scalability of centralized databases.

Against this background, the Elastos consensus mechanism provides exceptional security and decentralization of DID publishing.
