Hi, sorry if the topic posted in wrong forum.

I am wondering if there is a website shows charts for Difficulty Factors over the past year or two,

and if it shows any important events during that time, like the date of releasing new ASIC or so on..

Is there a website for that? Just to make better assumptions/expectation on how the difficulty factor will look like in the next 2 months or so on..
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Sipa's difficulty chart goes back a full year - How many years back are you looking for?

The first big jump I remember was when it went over 6,000,000 around April.

Thanks for the link - I think one year back will be fine.

Do you remember why that jump happened? And how the diff. was before the jump?

Here you go:

https://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?hl=en&hl=en&key=0AmcTCtjBoRWUdHVRMHpqWUJValI1RlZiaEtCT1RrQmc

Turns out I was remembering the 4,847,647 to 6,695,826 jump, which was the biggest % jump (38.13%) in almost two years.
