Ethereum has a chance to sore over bitcoin. but i dont see it overtaking it for the next few years.
Yes, Ethereum has a potential to reach the value of Bitcoin but it will take time. Thus, 1 year is not enough to reach the value of Bitcoin, it may take a long run in order to reach it. This long run includes plans; gaining people's trust, power and popularity. |

It sure can, just don't think it will happen anytime soon. I believe Bitcoin will always remain as number one, while Ethereum will remain second or third. Do note that if Ethereum reaches Bitcoin value of $15,000, the total marketcap of Ethereum would be $1.5 trillion, almost two times the current marketcap of the entire crypto space.

I dont think so. Bitcoin max supply is much deeper. And when you look at the lost coins in bitcoin which is minimum 20% its makes more rare. Ethereum hast so much higher max and circulating supply. So at the moment its not possible. But this year there will be a lot of new investors who will take the market cap to a new level, so maybe its possible that bitcoin loose value while ethereum gains value.

I am sure that it will be so, ETH will probably take around 1,5-2 years to reach BTC and crucial will be the possibility of usagea larger circle of people.

It can as ETH is used by more and more people as we've got a lot of new projects on this platform, and it can be used for sending transactions more likely than BTC as bitcoin is too much expensive. In my opinion, this scenario is just a matter of time when will it happen.

I do not think that it is possible for ethereum to be as valuable as bitcoin simply because bitcoin is way more popular than ethereum and the demand of bitcoin is comparitively way higher than its supply which aids in its higher value.On the other hand the supply of ethereum is very huge.Bitcoin is the master of all the cryptocurrencues and I do not think that any altcoin including ethereum can replace it. |

I think ETH value will exceed bitcoin when Hardcap bitcoin is reached and also takes a long time for ETH value could exceeded bitcoin. Probably five years or even more to the ETH can exceed bitcoin value . Just hold and keep positive thinking

I think it will eventually but this is far into the future and I don't see it happening for at least a few years. People need to remember that ETH is a baby compared to Bitcoin in terms of how long it has been around.

I think so. In the long run maybe can reach ETH the value of btc but not this time. It takes more years to get that close. Sometimes it depends the demand or users of that currency if they prefer ETH to grow then they can reach btc.

Ethereum have a good potential, but bitcoin is still the king of the cryptocurrencies, and it seem like that will continue for a while. As long as Exchanges only use BTC/Alt coin pairs BTC will NEVER lose it’s dominance. BTC gets a lot of its current worth from JUST that being true |

BTC value is derived from many factors and of them is first mover advantage which creates alot of trust between traders. |

We all know Ripple overruns ETH in terms of market cap but not with BTC. No digital currency could ever match the power, stability, volatility and that BTC will always dominate the world of crypto currencies. |

Are you serious about this? I don't see it will happen, at least for a long time. ETH is getting more and more valuable for good reason, but 1ETH>1BTC is too much. |
