If you're complaining about the fees, and you want to have them decreased, use one of these wallets (latest version):

Hardware wallets:

Web wallets:

Desktop wallet

iOS wallets:

Android wallets:

If you're holding your bitcoins for long term and don't really using them, then there is no need to use a SegWit wallet.

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

Thank you very much for your very useful list. I am not able anymore to send amounts under 100$ with big loss.
I will try out the android wallets. Maybe I can simply import my private key there, if they are not third party wallets.
Edit: Electrum for Android has quite many bad feedbacks, because of sudden crashes. I will try that later.
Samourai: Do you mean Sentinel Samourai? If yes, then you only can track your w, not spend Bitcoin.
Now I will go to GreenBits and update my post later.
Edit Update: No, GreenBits is not useful for me without providing private keys.
Electrum is running stable on my device.

this is not as good as bitaddress.org (which has not yet implemented SegWit) in my opinion but it is also open source and old. it uses JavaScript in your browser to generate random keys.
it is called coinbin:
the website: https://coinb.in/#newSegWit
source: https://github.com/OutCast3k/coinbin/

can be run offline.

There is a FOMO brewing...

BTW, Edge is also available for Android.

Now I will go to GreenBits and update my post later.
Update: GreenBits seems to be the right one. Now I will maybe bite in the sour apple and send a larger amount to a new generated address of Greenaddress, if there would be no other way for "old" addresses to be integrated to segwit.
What I disliked about GreenBits is that the app is too much simple. You can't export your private-keys, sign messages or have more than one wallet at the same time. It's basically a send and receive only app (which it's not that bad but it's also not for me).

Samourai: Do you mean Sentimental Samourai? If yes, then you only can track your wallets, not spend Bitcoin.
Sentimental (LOL)?. I guess you are talking about Sentinel, right? Sentinel is a watch-only wallet, so it's obviously that he is talking about Samourai (that's why he wrote Samourai and not Sentinel - dah!)

Yes, I meant Sentinel (seems, that autocorrection makes its own words Smiley ) Yes, he is obviously talking about Samourai, but Samourai Sentinel was the only app, that could be found on Playstore - dah! As you seem to be very experienced, please provide a link to the right one. Maybe it is not listed in my country.
Ok, then I will try Electrum for Android.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samourai.wallet

If it's not available because of your country or device, you can download (and verify) the APK I hosted some time ago:

I downloaded the zip file and went through it all and don't see the .apk file that I can use to run on my Android like I do for Coinami wallet. There is a source but maybe I have to compile it. Is there a compiled .apk file i can just run?
You can't find the apk anywhere else.

I uploaded the APK from the PlayStore for you. But of course you can't trust me, right? So you can verify that the file is legit by doing this:

1. Visit https://md5file.com/calculator or any other SHA256 file calculator.
2. Download the APK file and select it in the MD5File website.
3. You will see that the SHA-256 generated is the same as the one found in the Samourai's github for the Release 0.97.03.

APK file: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ympoeza670xx9mx/Samourai.ver.0.97.03.build.79.apk

Yes SegWit wallets are a good option for people who need to make a few transactions daily in Bitcoin. The problem is not many services or shops offer to accept payment from SegWit addresses. For the moment it is a mess up as the fees are extremely high in Legacy bitcoin network, I tried to send 0.016 bitcoin and it asked me for about 22 dollars fee, worse than the banks.

Just wonder, why big services are not using segwit wallets?

It might be a political statement. Most of the NYA companies did not support Segwit, but rather saw its activation on the network as part of a larger compromise. That compromise (Segwit2x) failed. In the end, Segwit is opt-in. No one is required to use it.

Coinbase and Bitmex both say they are working on adding Segwit support right now. People say "it only takes a couple days" but I suspect it's not so simple to switch to Segwit for some of the larger services.

The problem is not many services or shops offer to accept payment from SegWit addresses.

If they accept payment in Bitcoin, they don't have a choice whether the payment comes from a Segwit address or not. Segwit is backward compatible with the network.

Are you really asking this? They do not want to lose money, that is why they are not using segwit wallets.
When the price of fees went as high as $50 each, a lot of "exchanges" considered about using segwit walelts.

The interest was lost at the next day, they are not serious, maybe they pay $50 for the fees, but they ask for $60 to the one who want to withdraw.

Just wonder, why big services are not using segwit wallets?

Do you understand right now why it is all a monopoly?

It will take a long... long time.. specially from coinbase, they are just on Bcash side.

This comment https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2622666.msg27143272#msg27143272 brought me here thanks for this summary OmegaStarScream. I just enabled my new nano ledger s and I'd saw the segwit being enabled there and thank you for elaborating that. I'll start transacting soon with it and I have electrum wallet as well.

I have added links to all wallets so people don't get confused. Edge is apparently not available for downloading directly, people have to register for the beta. As for GreenBits, I've found two wallets and both added by the same company in Google play so I'm not sure which one I should link. Armory site is not being updated anymore so I may finish by linking to the releases page in GitHub.

Just wonder, why big services are not using segwit wallets?

Well, that's what we have been asked since segwit has been activated but exchanges and big platforms seem don't want to use the segwit address, maybe because they already have fixed fees for withdrawal. After mempool has too many unconfirmed transactions and ask for higher fees, exchanges can apply high fees without let you know how much they will charge, as some people here already experienced it on coinbase. At least all of us in this forum should support and use a segwit address.

Yeah, coinbase is one of the popular wallet for bitcoin but still they don't want to use segWit wallets which cause very heavy transaction fee which is about $50 for sending $100 dollars in bitcoins. If it cointinues like that then it will affect the future of bitcoins. So people we need to use the wallets who uses support segwit address to have less transaction fee and we need to let know other people to use segwit wallet for lesser transaction fee.

No,coinbase is an exchange and there is a significant difference between a wallet and an exchange which you newbies don't understand.

but still they don't want to use segWit wallets which cause very heavy transaction fee which is about $50 for sending $100 dollars in bitcoins. If it cointinues like that then it will affect the future of bitcoins. So people we need to use the wallets who uses support segwit address to have less transaction fee and we need to let know other people to use segwit wallet for lesser transaction fee.
You're correct.People need to use services which have activated segWit or are willing to do it anytime soon.Good exchanges like localbitcoins are already in the process.People should spread the word.

Yes I can confirm it too, I paid 50 satoshi/byte in a recent transaction of 0.02 bitcoins and the transaction was confirmed within the first 30 minutes. Meanwhile some of the websites which measure the effectiveness of different satoshi/byte fees showed that the maximum amount of time I would have wait was 240 minutes. I think fees are on the lower side now from quite a few days if not weeks.

Since there isn't any web wallet listed and a large percentage of people are using it, perhaps you can add Bitwala? They do have segwit wallets and you can get the private keys which are a plus
And if I am not wrong Airbitz aka Edge has the android version

Edit 1:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.airbitz
Edit 2: Bitwala closed the registrations so only old users can use their wallet

Isn't greenaddress a web wallet? there should be just another head "web wallet" in op and under it greenaddress!
