Bitcoin might be overvalued but it is not useless. I hate to see people badmouthing bitcoin like if without bitcoin they would be here talking about cryptocurrencies or even talking about investing in coins in the first place. The reason bitcoin goes slow is because the transaction volumes increase and with the lightening network, we won't have to worry about that. Bitcoin is anything but useless.

Why is Bitcoin useless? It has been in use in the dark world. The key is that no one can control it, so everyone believes it and feels safer. Although there are price fluctuations, it will not disappear because of the interference of outsiders.

To be perfectly honest, bitcoin is not useless and it will never be. In spite of it's situation it is still the top coin among them all. Bitcoin is such legend coin no one will ever beat it. I'm pretty sure that it will recover and it's gonna be worth it than before. So, be patient and be valm. |

Bitcoin is very slow transaction and fee is rediculus then why people bother buying it or considering it. I have £130 of bitcoin and I want to move it and it is asking for £28 network fee. Why should people bother having it. I can't wait to get rid of it when the fee is low.
I do not think Bitcoin is useless. It has helped many businesses to do better in money trading. So it always has a very high value. High transaction costs because operators need to make a reasonable adjustment to increase their profits. But now the transaction fee has fallen to equilibrium. |

I do not agree with this view. Anything has its own value. BTC too, it must be valid to be accepted by the community and use it. In terms of BTC there are many disadvantages, its limitations affect many investors and own them. because it is technology 1.0

Yeah, I remember this situation with high transaction fees in December, Bitcoin Network wasn't ready for such an influx of new users, but this problem is about to be solved.

I know this is an old post but bitcoin is never been useless even on that time, fees are for the miners and everything happens for a better cryptohub, bitcoin is useful, it won't get to this point if it doesn't help a lot of people.

I think bitcoin high price is because it was first coin and it had blockchain technology, and of course Bitcoin transfer fees are very high but still it is crypto gold, and I think that in the near future you will cover your fees and collect as much as you had at the time of investing.

Hi. I don't think bitcoin is useless for it is first cryptocurrency made and other altcoins follow it and no other cryptocurrency will be like bitcoin. There is a reason why its transaction fee is expensive other than altcoins. I think altcoins and bitcoin have the same transaction fee, it just happened that bitcoin has high value and other altcoins has low value. And we did not notice it because the value of altcoin is low.

I feel the word useless is too ambiguous in qualifying Bitcoin as A Crypto agent in this field. If it is that useless, what are you doing here holding it? Why don't you just dispose it off and quit this forum for something else? Above all , why still waiting for it's price upsurge for you to gain out of the useless coin just because it's confirmation is slow and the Exchange fee is high? What we are all just agitating for is how these fees can be reduced so that low income earners and the poor could also be having their ways with Bitcoin for it to be fairly and be progressively distributed other than being regressive in other for it to achieve its objective timely.
However, you can merge your Bitcoin with your trusted friend in this field in other to reduce the exchange fee rate if you but must have to cash out your coins, my advice instead of you raising Procrastination.

The reason is that bitcoin is the first crypto money in the world and the total bitcoin supply is very small. And i think bitcoin not useless. Yes, the transaction speed is unfortunately slow compared to the new coins, but it is not very accurate to only evaluate the bitcoin from the speed of the transaction.

For a coin that you need to purchase before making majority of the exchanges out there, I'm surprised that you just called Bitcoin a Useless coin. In fact, you should be flogged for that. lol. Bitcoin is not a useless coin if I must say, and even though the fees are quite high and transaction takes quite some time, I do not think that's enough reason to call it useless.

Yeah I agree that the fees of Bitcoin txn is so high plus txn speed is slow.But bitcoin is the first crypto so people has trusted in it.So it's popular .And I don't think at the moment it's useless.Cause every exchange has btc pair with altcoins which gives it more power.And it will never stop.
