On December 25, blockchain technology and bitcoin were reported on CCTV-2 (CCTV Finance).

Though bitcoin bulls and bears bring huge risks to the market, as a newly emergent reality, the blockchain technology adopted by bitcoin is well-suited for the financial field because of its technical features. In addition, our country has been conducting research on our own digital currency based on the blockchain technology.

Featured by decentralization, blockchain technology is a kind of Internet-based data storage technology, on which the fascinating digital currency as bitcoin is relied. Based on its traceability and automatic execution of smart contracts with other features, blockchain can greatly reduce the complexity of design and truly achieve penetrating supervision in the financial sector, especially in the bill business.

There are many who dislike Bitcoin but appreciate what blockchain technology can do to many industries. In fact, some are saying that if applied blockchain technology can be so revolutionary that many industries can be transformed when adopting the said platform on their businesses. There are now many who are experimenting with the blockchain technology on how it can dramatically improve their efficiency, cost and response capacity all of which can rebound to the health of the business especially on its prestige and bottomline profits. And what we are witnessing today is definitely just the tip of the iceberg especially after famous companies declared their desire to take advantage of the blockchain to upgrade their business and make it more attuned to the needs of the market they are servicing. Such is the beauty of the blockchain that we have many things to thank Satoshi Nakamoto for.

What if blockchains aren´t as revolutionary as you claim?

You should read the following article, where the author expresses his doubts about
the usefulness of blockchain technology:
https://hackernoon.com/ten-years-in-nobody-has-come-up-with-a-use-case-for-blockchain-ee98c180100

Apart from Bitcoin itself I don´t really see a useful blockchain project anywhere. This
is in spite of millions invested in research and all these fancy alliances of big companies
like the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance.

I will happily change my mind once a useful application of Blockchain apart from
Bitcoin emerges, but as of now I remain sceptical.
