Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Awesome profit buddy, good for you! Like most holders, the month of December made a lot people happy reaching ATH of roughly 20K USD. Having a regular job, it didn’t really save me from anything, but it helped me become richer! Which I am very grateful for, and like others, I also sold a percentage to help me get through the holidays and taking advantage of the high value.

Bitcoin also save my year too by giving me some cool cash to settle my training fees and house rent after I joined in 2017 may prescisely. I had no where to raise money so I borrowed some loan from a friend to start trading bitcoin and before I knew it that money grew beyond what I expected making the money go beyond what I initially expected.
Same thing happened for me too. I was in really bad shape economically. Last hope I started trading crypto currencies and it was a big milestone for me. I also started with money that I borrowed from a friend and luckily I paid very shortly. Yes it save my year because I'm earning a lot and gives me money a lot, so this past christmas I'm glad because i give a lot of money to my parent that my gift for them. Also I give some present to street child and to all kids here. |

I started 2017 broke and with a very low wage. My girlfriend also broke up with me in the beginning of the year.
Although I had committed some trade mistakes I was able to get 400% gains, thanks to btc. This gave me hope and made my year a lot better.
I wonder how many people bitcoin "saved" this year, even preventing some suicides maybe.
I was also very grateful for the bitcoin because I had a good life in 2017, because of bitcoin I had a little bit of money and had celebrated a good new year, not much too hard at living last year because of bitcoin I earned and that's what we use for everyday cost and hopefully in the year 2018 I'm even blessed with the growth of my bitcoin |

Losing a girlfriend is nothing if you have a lot of money and that's good when bitcoin saved you. But to think that there are people who are about to commit suicide I don't know if there are people who would do that.

Well congrats to you, your're a lucky man. For me, I just started on crypto trading October 2017, I'm just starting to learn about the potential earnings of holding a crypto coins or altcoins. Before the year ends, I've earned a little money, where I bought myself a brandnew phone, a brandnew TV and some appliances for my family. I'm jobless, and I thought to myself that I'm just a burden for my family. But thanks to bitcoin, I learned that there is still hope for me to help my family from financial problems. I hope this year will be a good year for bitcoin, for the altcoins that I'm holding and for myself. Sad to hear you think yourself a burden to your family. Hopefully you can let go of that thought now you found your way in life. Wish you all the best in 2018 and thereafter! |

I know, even in the case of 100% loss, I won't be in a position of committing suicide because I never invest more than my loss-bearing capacity and thus I have my other businesses to pay the bills and running my routine life without any turbulence. I agree that for some people, Bitcoin trading or freelancing might be the only option to gain money but that's the risky case and I would suggest Warren buffet's mantra of multiple sources of income for such peoples.

I think a lot of people are saved this year. Thanks to bitcoin that the unemployed can get back to work, many people who go bankrupt slowly began to improve the economy. There are many more benefits of bitcoin for people around the world. Hopefully more people will recognize bitcoin.
Really it’s a big favor of bitcoin to such people who were seeing for job before this bitcoin. Bitcoin has changed lives of people and make them able to earn their livelihood to survive in all situations. Before this, many people were unemployed and some of them were recorded as below the poverty line but after this revolution that bitcoin brought in people’s life is much beneficial for them and hopefully many people could know about bitcoin to improve their financial status. |

Bitcoin preventing some suicides? That's hilarious! Well, glad to hear that Bitcoin helped another person in you. That is what is rewarding with Bitcoin. If you truly believe in it and buy some and then hold for at least a year, there is never a way to fail. This is the perfect message to those people who have weak hands and those emotional, easily getting panicked with a little dump of Bitcoin's value. They should learn to be patient. |

It was an incredible experience. I will also tell you a bit about my life and bitcoin. I am only a private employee with a salary that is just enough to meet daily needs. So when I decided to get married in 2017, I tried harder to get profit from trading bitcoin and altcoin. This is amazing, from the ptofit I can marry my girlfriend.
