what chips are these based on? (i mean 1.2gh, to be 2.5gh, that doesn't sound like avalon. ) Definitely not Avalon. BPMC is boycotting any Avalon product until refunds are resolved on the Gen1 chips the failed to deliver on time. We will reserve the type of chip for this miner until we are ready to release more information after we have finished more prototype testing. Sign me up for more info! Any newsletter? There's only one chip out there that does 2.5 (well, 2.7gh/s) that you can get in your hands right now and it's the Bitfury. That is quite well known. Why the secrecy?

There is no secrecy... we are just "teasing" the information out to the community until we are ready for sales. We are basically using this thread to drum up interest and speculation. It could be BitFury... then again... As for a newsletter we have that available on our website but at the moment all updates on these products are here in this thread. Thanks for the link we will check that out. EDIT: Until all the BPMC K1 refunds are complete we will not be making any further statements about future products.

Very interested. Will sales be a pre selling or item in hand?

We might potentially take PayPal but that is not a guarantee so don't get upset if it turns out we can't.
