Naga will start to put its coin on the Hitbtc exchange tomorrow. For people like me who missed the ico, this should give us a chance to buy interesting coins before they start mooning.
But here the dilemma starts.
I wanted to sign up at Hitbtc, but did my due diligence. I was shocked to find so many unhappy customers. So what happens is that good coins sign up on crappie exchanges, trading is taking place there and the price rises higher before the coin eventually hits a more reputable exchange.
So as an investor, you either sign up at such a low quality exchange and make nice profits until the day comes when you plan to withdraw. Then your money suddenly disappears.
Or you wait for your coin to finally arrive also at a more reliable exchange, but then the price probably has gone up in the meantime due to all this trading on low quality exchanges.
Is there no way out of this dilemma? Why do only crappy exchanges start to carry new coins?
I have my own story to tell with Cryptopia!

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Yes - you should be aware of the ICO and buy before it ends Smiley

And when it comes to HitBTC its not that bad.
I saw info on this forum that HitBTC wanted 45 BTC for listing new coin. Imagine other exchanges with more users..

Naga ico has ended already. So the only way to buy is via Hitbtc. But what good is it should you make profits, that you cannot withdraw.
I found tons of user complaints while researching Hitbtc.

Yes, there were some bad stuff going on in the meantime.

Mostly due to the AMM listing. If you transfered a coin early on the exchange, you'll get 1000X or more AMM coins. Cause of that it was sold at the cheapest price possible.
Everyone that bought those coins, didn't get the AMM coins and also not a refund of their used money.

Second thing that was even worse, was the low gas price HITBTC paid for withdrawals. The gas price was that low, that miner didn't want to confirm those transactions. Because of that many people are waiting weeks now till the transactions is confirmed by blockchain. A few days later HITBTC raised the gas price... for new transactions. Many of the old ones still stuck :/

I'm not really sure what you're trying to get at, Hitbtc is the 4th or 5th biggest exchange so definitely not crappy. They list coins quite exclusively/expensively so not many list there. In my experience it's an almost guaranteed pump when a coin lists on HitBTC.

HitBTC have huge withdrawal problems currently. Litecoin withdrawal is pending for 24 hours. Support told me if it doesn't go through they will refund it to me. Be careful there.
On the other side, I withdrew ETH on 06.12 without any problems.

What I try to say is that quite a few people stay away from Hitbtc but trading still goes on aon this exchange, so people like me who will only invest once the coin hits a more reliable exchange have to pay more, since the price of good coins was driven up by the trading on crappy exchanges.
I would rather see coins like Naga start at reputable exchange right away and not after trading on Hitbtc has driven up prices already.

I have some NGC, but I don't get how they gain value. They've all been standardized to $1 USD = 1 NGC. The total market supply is around 300 mil NGC after the burned tokens from the presale. Hopefully their market cap is somewhere around there as well, but I don't see it being so.

If the NGC is going to be continuously readjusted to $1 USD, how are going to make money?

If you look on their forums it's full of complaints, I also have bad experiences with them on withdrawal issues and bad customer support. Which surprised me for an exchange this size.

DONT BE AS STUPID AS ME!
I felt as HitBTC just scammed me.. when i bought CND some time ago.. just after the ico as i wasnt whitelisted. The price is FAR FAR higher than the price it will have when it hits another exchange. They are no tokens at all.. just UIO! you can't withdraw to outside or deposit them in hitbtc.
Same is happening right now, with ICON.. ICX.. on the first day on exchanges, its price in hitbtc was a lot higher than in binance for example. But if you tried to send your ICX from Binance to HItbtc, to take advantage of the price gap, you will realize that they couldn't be deposited.
Sumarizing.. this are not real tokens, just a way for hitbtc for making money.. they don have real tokens, just UIO.. that the begin sellin with a price much higher than ico price! dont let them fool you, as they did me with CND

regards

┌∩┐(◕_◕) ┌∩┐ Not your keys, not your coins. Binance (and any other CEX) can fuck off ┌∩┐(◕_◕) ┌∩┐

i just tried to login into my hitbtc account and it can't. What the heck was happened with hitbtc. A lot of people in the hitbtc forum were saying about they can't withdraw their money from there.
This pretty ridiculous. Majority of the coins are disabled by the hitbtc team. The users can't withdraw or deposit.

Does anyone know why the address that now shows on MyEther Wallet is different from the one i cut and paste directly to Naga site to have my coins sent to? MyEtherWallet shows zero balance even though transaction is complete.
How do i fix this and show balance?

There is no such thing like readjustment. They've only told that IF at the beginning of the listing the price WOULD fall below 1.00€ they COULD buy enough back, to stabilize it.

Ok. I can see that. Yeah, some guy sold his NGC for a premium (around $26 per NGC) earlier today on HitBTC. The price came down fairly quickly though, like within 10 minutes. It was hovering around $1.45/NGC last time I checked earlier today.

Hitbtc I never fully trust. If it's small, it's always a little problematic.

I am not sure if it is wise now to create an account in HitBTC. I hear a lot of people having funds stuck, might also be only FUD like they did on Poloniex last year.
