How do I get a BTC transaction UNSTUCK?

I tried to save some money because I hardly have any BTC, but I see the "Fee Too Low" warning on my order this morning, and the transaction hasn't been received on the other end. 

I want to get this unstuck.  I'm on Electrum, and I don't see the Child/Parent or other methods that I have read about online listed on the Wallet.  It's a bad wallet in my opinion; charges too much, and can't get unstuck.   


I also don't want to pay large fees.  The purpose of the crypto is to drop the transaction fees, but it looks like the fee for hardly any value of BTC is $14 - $75 USD value.  That's ridiculous to me. 

So what is a savvy way of getting around that fee?

CPFP method is possible to be done manually. You can look into it and learn how to use it.

It is not wallets fault for the fees. You can set your own fees to whatever you want, it is just that it is going to take longer to confirm.

As for the purpose of cryptocurrencies, there are many and I doubt that transaction fees is what most people see as main feature. The decentralization and trustless nature is what generally people see as the main benefit of cryptocurrencies.

As for what you can do, well other than CPFP, you can use a transaction accelerator. If you post your txid someone here (maybe me) might help you out.

Patience Unless your fee is ridiculously low, chances are it will confirm at some point.
If you paid at least 10 sat/byte, you can use https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/, but that website requires impeccable timing to submit your transaction.

There's the transaction ID in the second one.  The first one was not the correct one. 

I like learning about this, so if disseminate any details about this and that, I'd be appreciative.

I believe that if the word about the fees on BTC right now start to blow around, the majority of the world is going to become selectively forgetful about BTC and cryptos subsequently.  Investors may still deal, but typical people may not which is very understandable.  I'm old enough and experienced to the world enough to know this about the world.

It appears that it finally cleared after about 15 hours, and it was simply sent back to my wallet. 

I just resent it with the recommended median satoshis listed on the "bitcoinfees" site. 

Should be faster.

You want to post a new txid to accelerate that one?

In future use RBF transactions (Replace-by-fee) and you will never have the same problem again.
It simply gives you the ability to send the same transaction later, just with higher fees if you see that the fee was too low when you sent it.
I don't know if Electrum supports it, but Bitcoin Core does, you just check the option for it when you are sending the bitcoins.
