I am going to work on adding Zetacoin to P2Pool.org tonight.

Might have a few questions for ya.

Solo is the same with all these other coins but if you've only ever mined scrypt you need to remove it (options) from your batch.

  just changed port to 17334 and  works fine  seems 17333  port was the problem..
use any other port and u fine..
diff rises fast though.. what is the  difficulty re targeting like? just one way up?

The IP needs to be the IP of the machine running the wallet. If you are using this through a local network it would be something like 192.168.1.10 or whatever your router, or you,  have assigned to that machine. Open your firewall to allow zetacoin wallet. If you are running the wallet on the same machine as cgminer use 127.0.0.1.

Very simple cgminer.bat without any options. (options are on you but remember this isn't a scrypt coin, don't use scrypt specific options. Use cgminer readme if you need help)

cgminer -o 127.0.0.1:17333 -u minezeta -p asicfriendlyuhoh

Actually, you can use almost any rpcport you like as long as they match in conf and bat. If 17333 didn't work then it's being blocked by your machine.

Diff retargets according to the dev

Difficulty retargets every 4 blocks based on last 90 blocks (Quick difficulty readjustment)

While the blocks are downloading I will be implementing Zetacoin into P2Pool.

Once I verify it is up and running I will release the IP.

from my experience it seems to be something to do with the zetacoin client, when setting up my pool i had a similar problem, stratum and pushpool which work perfect on coins like bitcoin refused to work with zetacoin, now me and the other pool op's here discussed what we did and came up with the same results.
