Should be ok, the final rate is one coin every 30sec. that's still 2,880 coins per day for miners to fight over. |

It's not the temporarily slower block time that I worry about, its a 51% attack. But then again, if someone really wanted to, it wouldn't be too difficult now.

p2pool not a real pool?
p2pool requires you run a wallet on your PC for the coins. ZET creates a block every 30sec so keeping the block chain up to date on your PC's wallet is a pain. p2pool can't deposit directly to an exchange like coinex.pw it can only send to your own wallet on your PC, so it's not as flexible as a proper pool. Hmm... This does not compute. I've just try-mined at p2pool http://204.10.105.89:17335/static/ with Cryptsy address as username and it worked, despite the above warning and the warning at Cryptsy. Already got credited over 500ZET in 8 transactions. |

so faster block times were the result of the initial scrypt copycoin madness. is this actually the first sha256 coin to implement this? not crazy fast like geistgeld, but with a blocktime that still works? that actually could make this a good coin.

We are still at the stage where some big ASIC miners are making alot of ZET. They will start selling soon and drop the price a bit, I don't think we will see the real price until the reward drops a bit more. Maybe 2 months.
