It was a rhetoric question. What I wanted to hint was that one person owning 23% of the total supply (or even more if he has more addresses) can't be really healthy for the coin's future. I was doubtful if it was one person and not a pool or exchange cold wallet, but the address has been moving coins the last few days, many coins. 7.5mil yesterday out, this was probably the big dump on cryptsy? which if so this worries me slightly. the bellow address pops up in there transaction list many many times. https://coinplorer.com/ZET/Addresses/ZUGDRKbSFSpMccJ4VKnLoEsRqCT3T3hfHm. the first ever deposit to the large holding address was the bellow transaction. 1/28/2014 10:36:33 AM (UTC) ZGCHsbMRLdx68Jo9T1HvuqnWzuu5PzVMaB see tx + 1 ZET then their has been a very steady stream of 50,000 zeta transactions getting added to the address.

Distribtion.
First of, you don't know if this is a Wallet of one Person or an Exchanges Wallet! Why speculate!
Second, The Distribution of a Coin is in the beginning not concerning at all! The Distribution will change by time, just like Bitcoins Distribution and Litecoins distribution got better.
Nobody wanted this Coin before at all, few people bought - So no complaining about Distribution!
You have to think long term! Or do you think that Bitcoin was well distributed a few years back? I think not

Of course it's a lot, most of the coins have already been mined no? This coin is most likely a targeted marketing effort organized by the major coin holders. They are now slowly unloading on everyone at insane prices. Satoshi has also a large part of the bitcoins
The top 1% of Bitcoin holders hold 80% of the BTC wealth too, I've always said this is a problem too but it is something a lot of people don't want to hear. It's still not the same with Bitcoin and some altcoin like zeta. My post will get buried pretty soon within the pages of this thread but the reality is that the coin has existed since what, mid 2013? There are a few enormous whales and they are making a huge amount of money right now.

I'd like to thank eduffield and the other developers for this critically important evolution in virtual currency. DarkCoin is what bitcoin should have been. Some might call it "Bitcoin 2.0" but would do better by saying: "DarkCoin is digital cash." - Child Harold - February 28, 2014 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=421615.msg5424980#msg5424980

Secondarily top 100 adresses hold just 19% of the mined BTC while this adress holds 23% of the total coins supply

You do know it is estimated that as much as possibly half of the Bitcoins on the market could be gone or lost forever due to hard drive wipes or government seizures? If this is true (and not saying it is) that would mean there are 6 million Bitcoins in the wild and Satoshi owns a million of them. That means Satoshi owns 16% of the total available Bitcoin supply. Add on top of that 927 people own HALF of the rest of the supply http://www.businessinsider.com/927-people-own-half-of-the-bitcoins-2013-12If you will not come out and admit Bitcoin has the same distribution problem albeit on a slightly lesser scale you are showing some cognitive bias.

It's still 16% of the coins mined so far , not 23% of all coins that will be mined like in case of zeta. And what you're saying about bitcoin are assumptions , while in this case we have proofs.

We still have no proof it is an individual or an exchange wallet either way. Anyway I don't like the idea of someone owning 23% either, but I don't like the idea of 1000 people owning half of the Bitcoins as well. Bitcoin is no more fairly distributed than the traditional wealth and finance world which goes directly against what Satoshi intended. And while more coins can be mined in the future, who has the money anymore to mine and accumulate a significant chunk of Bitcoins but big multi-million dollar mining farms? Bitcoin is not decentralized like people think.

Why mine period when you can just buy? It is all speculation on ROI either way.
