The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

Now there is the Zetacoin situation. So what’s the deal?! The deal is we’re all waiting. The fact of the matter is despite what any dickwad on Twitter says, they do not know when the announcement will be. I don’t know and Konen does not know definitively. If we don’t, I assure you random guy X on Twitter has no fucking idea. We have ideas, we know what we are waiting on and what needs to be done but there is no way of saying in X number of hours it will be complete. That’s just not real. So we’re all in the same big ass boat. We’re waiting. I know, it sucks. I want to be rich too! I want to stop getting 20 text messages as a day that read “so is the announcement today?” because I now have auto saved “I don’t know” to prefill the response. I hate this whole situation with a passion. I hate deadlines. Despite all of that, here we are. No sense is crying about it. I think we all agree there is a body. There is something very big and very real happening. I am greatly amused by the speculation. I will say I have only seen 1 person write anything that is actually accurate. The rest is purely wild speculation – and inaccurate at that.

It's like waiting for someone to come out of a coma, day on day sitting there and waiting. Then when the person snaps out of it and asks "what's been happening while I've been asleep", what are you going to say?
"I've been busy changing the world" or "nothing actually I've just been sitting here waiting for you"
Regardless of the announcement you still have time to change the world.

Zetacoin is in my book called Cryptocurrency "The Alt-ernative" Beginner's Reference.  Here is first draft of IFC:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=356065.msg7131241#msg7131241

MAIN CRYPTOCURRENCY BOOK THREAD: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=483187.0

Zetacoin will look similar to this.  Coin specifications, history, exchanges and other miscellaneous details will be included.  Please help fund the publication of this book which I plan to publish this summer.

Yeah I'm waiting too... I think we all know that cryptos are the future but that future isn't here just yet. So the question is what cryptos are going to catch on?? I made my bets some months ago and Zetacoin was one of them. If your coin has come out since then I couldn't care less, I'm still waiting for some of the old timers (like Zetacoin, Quark, Potcoin, Sexcoin) to live up to their potential.

Long time ago I had a shitload of Litecoins ... then I had a shitload of PPcoins ... same with Worldcoins ... I always sold to soon ... if I kept everything, today I'd be a rich bitch.
Litecoin didn't do anything technologically revolutionary ... it was basically just a good combo of features that other coins already had (Scrypt was not Litecoin's innovation)
So it's not all about technological innovation ... there are many other factors involved in the success of a coin, and they can be even more crucial than the innovation aspect
So this time I'm not going to repeat the same mistake. My intuitions about 'good coins' have always been right, I was just too impatient and sold too early. Zetacoin will win

I agree.
I have about 15+M mint, I just lost about 500K mint. I want to cry. I will never let the remain mintcoins go.
If I get a chance, I will fetch large amount of zetacoins too. But now I have only a little zetacoins.

Why do you ask?
Do you have something to gain by Zetacoin dying?

I use this one
http://darkgamex.ch:2751/chain/ZetaCoin
or
http://bit.usr.sh:2750/chain/Zetacoin

And you have these ones also
https://coinplorer.com/ZET

http://bitinfocharts.com/zetacoin/explorer/

Thanks for the first link, it works.

The second link is the same that I have that doesn't work anymore.

Will also take a lot at the coinplorer
