How can you not own any Bitcoin? Bitcoin is like one of the safest bet when investing in crypto. Anyway, there are many altcoins out there now, but I would suggest ICON and Dragonchain. Both have very promising products, and ICON is slated to announce partnerships and other announcements at the end of January if I'm not mistaken.

For me Ethereum and Ethereum classic are the best altcoins to invest at this time and I am sure that 2018 will belong to these altcoins and it will grow huge this is my research on these altcoins if you want to invest in any altcoins I will recommend you to invest by doing proper research because by following someone else you will not get the results what you want so its better to do research yourself then invest in that altcoins.

For me ethereum and ripple are the best altcoins to invest right now because they continously increasing but if you will try to look into graph I think it's not a good idea to leave bitcoin because I believe this will appreciate soon and will recover from its downfall. Better continue investing in bitcoin while putting some to those promising alternative coins

Im thinking DragonChain (DRGN) is going to see some serious up and to the right action. Its not on Bittrex or Binance, only CoinEnchangeUnder $3usd, current market cap ~$600m Its going to rise steady then once it hits a larger exchange, mooning will ensue.
