I wouldn't consider it a scam, but more risky because of their timeline/development. Recently go into one called IoT Chain that solves the flaws of IOTA and they're killing it. Started at a couple of cents and now at almost $4. Apparently they're the IOTA of china. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/iot-chain/
