Hey everybody,
I'm selling a redeemed 2011 1BTC Casascius coin. I could lie and say it was one with a spelling error...or that it wasn't lol. It doesn't matter because once redeemed, the blanks are identical. I truthfully don't know about this one. I buy peoples' used coins from them.

Either way, the coin is in great shape. You could use brass polish to get it perfect. (I am reluctant to do this because in the "coin collecting" world, cleaning a coin is a big no-although, that is for numismatic coins and using an abrasive method...like scrubbing with steel wool.)

Finally, this coin can very easily be reloaded with bitcoins. I have holograms identical in size to Casascius' and would be happy to send you one. If you don't know how to load the coin, just let me know and I'll send along instructions.

Plastic case included!

Free REGULAR* First Class Mail anywhere in the US!
$2 REGULAR* First Class Mail internationally, anywhere in the world!
(REGULAR* means w/postage stamps, but not registered/trackable. If it never arrives (although that has never happened...good mail and honest people *knock on wood*), I can't be held accountable. If you want shipping via another method, just let me know. I'll figure out how much it costs and charge you just that amount. I hate people trying to make money off shipping lol.
(MODS: Hopefully you don't send this to the "auctions" center. Its not one-if I don't see a price I like, I won't sell. Thanks!)

Anyways, lets get this going. .07BTC?, anyone?

(What the coin looks like loaded with bitcoins and protected by a tamper-proof hologram. These work exactly the same way as Casascius's)

It's worth pointing out that brass polish does a pretty nice job of untarnishing my blanks and works within seconds/minutes.

Numismatic no-no aside.

Companies claiming they got hacked and lost your coins sounds like fraud so perfect it could be called fashionable.  I never believe them.  If I ever experience the misfortune of a real intrusion, I declare I have been honest about the way I have managed the keys in Casascius Coins.  I maintain no ability to recover or reproduce the keys, not even under limitless duress or total intrusion.  Remember that trusting strangers with your coins without any recourse is, as a matter of principle, not a best practice.  Don't keep coins online. Use paper or hardware wallets instead.
