It seems some price exaggeration actually because the amount you mentioned that is $100k is much than which can be crossed by year ending 2018 as we can make some logic by monitoring price graphs that it can reach maximum of $50-$60k but in near future this landmark can also be achieved.

This is not happening. Bitcoin is entering a multi year bear market again.

Just compare this current crash to the crash of 2012/2013; they are like carbon copies of each other.

The previous bubble was predicated on several factors: Winklevoss ETF, technicals, and adoption, etc.

When the actual events came to fruition, BTC was in a bear market.

The Japanese exchanges are the new Chinese exchanges, which reached ATH before BFX, Stamp, etc, just like the Chinese exchanges did back in 2012/13.

i'm not an expert here, but i think to get to that point we need bitcoin 1.0.0 with so much update and this technology must defeated ripple at all cost

I will be happy if the price reach to 100000 dollars but it seems very difficult because it is a very big amount and today’s price is just 12000 dollars after decrease in the price in the past few days. So it will take a long time to reach to 100000 dollars.

I think there is nothing worthy like bitcoin in the world if the price reaches to that level. I will be very surprising price for the whole investors.

Agree, I think anything north of $30,000 would be great progress. We can’t expect to see 1000% price increases every year.

Yeah, there is a possibility once the bitcoin "Lightning Network" is fully implemented, it will speed up the bitcoin transaction speed with ZERO transaction fee. With the LN bitcoin will be back on the track and continue shooting from where it stops to the moon. With LN every price is achievable over time.

If bitcoin give more popularity ot itself then 100k is also achievable it need more people to use bitcoin not only invest in but to use it as payment also and as we are getting amazon and McDonalds news this shows that prices will rise more in coming days and good time for the bitcoin investor community is coming and I think if more regions will accept bitcoin, prices will go higher than the 100k but still we are short of investors,

Not sure about $100K whoever says so, but $30K-$40K is still possible. I agree nothing is impossible but similarly hitting that high within a year is not practical enough, including the jump it will be facing within the year. As the value increases to more high, the volatility will increase as well.

A few days ago it looked like bitcoin was going down to 11K. But now it looks like the price is going up again to maybe 18K this week. So it's hard to predict what the price will be these days. 30K this year sounds quite reasonable, 100K is not likely.

Bitcoin is volatile we can't predict when the price will drop or the price continue to increased only time can tell so if you are bitcoin holder you should hold your bitcoin even you are seeing the price wen't to fall if you don't have patience you will be lose so hold your bitcoin in longer time and wait for the price to increase to make your invest to make more profitable..

The problem lies in those who believe these numbers and then put all their investment and savings and then lose all their money.
100k$ is so high price. it is hard to be rich from buying and save it for 10 years or more.
people need to learn about investment so they can make 100% profits every 3 or 4 yaers
