Hey guys I'm looking to put together a resource thread showcasing 1 all CPU mineable coins // best CPU mineable coins and some guides on how to get started on them whether they're write-ups or videos etc.

2020 Update
Created a video guide on how to mine Monero XMR on their new CPU only RandomX mining algorithm with Intel and AMD Ryzen CPUs!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkxA5yfsqsE

2019 Q2 update
Put together a video review on if CPU mining is still profitable in 2019 and what some of the common options are EX CPU mining Monero XMR and also CPU mining an up and coming (debatably) cryptocurrency such as Veruscoin among others

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9hvDSMBz7s

Full timestamps and links in video description on YouTube.

If you're looking for hashrate & profitability charts, please reference this for AMD Ryzen 1700 on most mining algorithms - http://voskco.in/1700calc
If you're looking for extensive Verus (veruscoin / VRSC) hashrates on CPU and GPU please look here - http://voskco.in/VerusH

If you have CPU mining information/links/hashrates you'd like added to OP please post away and I will update this with more information.

Here's a snapshot of some of the referenced information above

[2018 OP]
For example all cryptonight coins (estimated w/ ryzen 1700 oc) Ryzen 1700 on Amazon - http://geni.us/K3yCi

Biblepay is a CPU only mineable coin which I found interesting.

Looking for all input!

With my Ryzen 7 1700

Aeon (cryptonight-light) xmrig: 1900 H/s
Intensecoin (cryptonight) xmrig-nvidia: 500 H/s
Credits (Aragon2d) in wallet miner: 45 kH/s
Yenten (YescryptR16): 1030 H/s

I know also follwing coins can be mined with CPU but have not tried myself yet:
Verium
ROI coin
Zoin
Magi

Regarding Cryptonight there is a nice profitability comparison calculator here:
http://minecryptonight.net/

I have not overclocked my CPU at all so my results are without overclocking.

I'm mining Verium right now on 3 old servers. One of the servers is running CentOS and the other two are running Windows 10. I'm very excited about Verium and Vericoin, check them out.

In theory if ju dedicate different CPU cores to different miners by setting CPU affinity. Or by switching coin by time, like mining one coin on mondays, another on tuesdays and so on. I have tried different coins but not more than one at the time.

You can also mine one coin on CPU and another coin on GPU at the same time.

The most profitable coin to mine for 2018 and the end of 2017 for me was and its still is IntenseCoin (ITNS)
Wokring on Cryptonote techonolgy and cryptonighe algorithm for me this was the most profitable coin ever.

I am mining on CPU with only 5 and sometimes 6 cores on their official pool and I make ton of profit only through mining.

Give it a try and check it, I know you will be satisfied with the result Smiley

Anonymous currencies are the trend now , and they have the most bright future of all coins.
Check IntenseCoin bitcointalk ANN and start mining today, you won't regret it Smiley
Mine it and tell me how it goes Smiley

I don't get what you mean by profitable, I currently mine YenTen, I have a Xeon with 4 cores running all the time at about 90H/s per core, and i7 that runs all night and most of the day on 8 cores at about 70H/s per core, an i5 running continually with 4 cores at about 40H/s and another I& that runs for a few hours at night at about 90H/s

Profit... about 4-6 coins a day, doesn't matter what pool I use, yentencoin, bunnymining, antminerpool all very low payouts in my opinion.

By profitable he/she means does it cover the electricity cost, also, what is it currently worth in BTC for the amount of coins per day you get.

As people have said, ITNS (IntenseCoin) has been and remains profitable. XUN (Ultranote) fluctuates wildly, but is decent.

ETN is based on CryptoNight, you can still mine by GPU, I think. In Cryptopia, the trade volume is really high, I don't think it's nature to do so.

Since I don't yet have a gpu rig, I'll be checking out this thread often. Great idea to focus on CPU mineable coins. Maybe you can do a vid on cluster computung with rapspbery pi and odroid?

I don't even see any working pool for this coin. Can you really mine it solo and make a profit?
Edit: the only pool I found is mentioned in the guide and nothing, no links even work at the site. Just a shell facade site.
So seems strange....
